"You really liked Dirk didn't you?" Gwen says "You know.. as a fighter" to save face for her

She thinks about this, and shrugs. "He's a bad ass. You GOTTA respect that."

"Yeah. I mean, if he wanted me dead" A huff "Damn that's humbling"

"If -I- Wanted you dead, I'd dig a big pit..." She starts to describe.

"You know, it's a bit disturbing that your most genius moments relate to my demise"

She laughs. "I have a lot of time to think of it. I mean not just YOU. Like, you have to plan for differnet people. Like Bluebell would just hippity hop out of a hole. She needs a NET."

"She would" A nod "So what sort of trap would you set for a redcap girl with far too much sass now that her teeth are back?"

"Well, maybe a bear - HEY!"

She tosses a roll at Gwen, but not with any real vigor.

A grin

She munches another roll

Sylvi managed to overhear a little bit of that, having claimed a seat nearby. "Hi. Didn't mean to eavesdrop, but...you've met Dirk?"

"Oh..yeah" Gwen says a light blush "At pennons"

"She spent 10 WHOLE MINUTES with him beating the snot out of her! I made a killing!"

Then a suddenly...well, not quit guilty, but cognizant look. "Was I not supposed to mention that? Well I already spent it, so no one can take it." CHin jut.

"I ..ah"

Sylvi grins. "Don't worry, I won't spill. I was going to stop by there, too, but there was SO MUCH to do...and I always have the urge to break it up, so I decided against. Don't want to spoil people's fun." She looks at Gwen. "Yeah, I heard you met the challenge. Pretty amazing."

"Well, my skin is.."She shows her fore arm "Feel if you want?" It looks smooth almost sculpted

Sylvi accepts the invite and touches lightly, then again. "So...you can't feel as much pain?"

It's as hard as stone "More like it's as strong as chainmail all over my body. I"m not invincible though. The bruises I get prove that. But I can take a pounding. Lots of trolls stronger than me, but I'm.. well, I try to make this work for those I protect. "

"I wanted to conk her with a pan to see if it would hurt, but Marigold said she'd stop feeding me if I did."

A scowl. "I think she just likes that pan."

"Still...Dirk's no lightweight when it comes to fighting. He can deliver a beating. And you stood up to him. That's impressive." She withdraws her hand.

A grin to Briar. "Probably. My mom would have a fit if you used her pans for combat."

"It's gotta get boring being just with trolls all the time." She remarks to Sylvi. "I mean, Gwen's cool, but Linn and Dani are BOSSY."

"probably both." A smile

A frown. "You're not gonna get bossy when you get sained, are you?" Narrowed eyes at Gwen.

"if I do, it'll be for your own good" Gwen says in a geenteel fashion, then snerks

"And yeah, Dirk hits like a hammer. I got bruises UNDER My skin"

"Um...well..." she tries not to take the just-with-trolls comment personally. "Rivervale's got a LOT of kiths."

"You're like, the boss of who gets to visit, right?" Looking to Sylvi. "Tell Dirk to come. We have a HOG to eat."

"I've never had to fight him," Sylvi says with an air of thankfulness.

"Me? Well...not really. I'm just more like the official voice when official stuff has to happen. And...I mean, I could let Dirk know, but I'm not sure how he'd get here tonight. I think Gerd's preoccupied...."

"Well..weirdly enough, I am grateful he gave mee a chance" Gwen admits then looks to Sylvi "You're the big diplomat at Rivervale right? the Emmisary .. you went to alaska.. and other holds... God I'd be a wreck having to represent like that in public before crowds. How do you do it?"

"Alaska? We're sending dogs there." A sigh. "I'll miss 'em, but they gotta go bite some butts up north."

She blushes a bit at the praise and shrugs. "Honestly? I was a wreck. I think my folks pushed me out into the role because...well...I was getting kind of an attitude. But the more I had to represent, the more I got the attitude managed. Plus...cheerleader." As if that explains the rest.

"You're sending dogs? In some kind of trade?"

"Well, the Baron breeds them but only repubatle quitlity buyers get them" Gwen explains

"He sold 'em, but he doesn't sell to ANYONE." She nods as Gwen explains. "They're going to new homes, not just to buyers."

Sylvi grins and nods. "They'll get a good home up there. Cold weather, but a kind master."

Gwen nods "I like dogs. I figure I'll be a thane one day for sure, but if I'm lucky I'll be assitant kennel master"

"Who's the current kennel master?"

"The Baron, of course"SHe says

"And ME!"

"Oh! I thought maybe he had somebody else... Well, then, yeah, that would be a great position to aspire to!"

Sylvi grins at Briar and nods. "Very cool."

A look at Briar and a grunt, but she lets it go

Briar shoves a thumb to her chest. "I feed 'em and scoop, that part sucks but it's gotta be done. Boss only does one litter at a time. He could make better money if he cranked 'em out like a pet shop, but he doesn't care. He's LOADED anyways."

A smirk, proud to brag about her Baron.
