"Well, aren't we fierce?" he sighs "It might...drain another hold a bit. One that has more htan enough control"

"That's... That's against the escheat! You can't hurt a hold!"

Sylvi the Piskey pouts. "Which Hold?"

"I think we're done here.." he sighs

The clockwork butterfly starts to retreat into his sleeves

"Because we won't do your stupid secret mission that you want expendable lackeys for? Oh, noooOooo, I'm crushed."

"Yeah...yeah, I think you're right."

She watches the butterfly with real regret, involuntarily stepping closer....

"A shame...unless, of course" he looks at Sylvi, "You're willing to wish your friend well and send her on her way?"

"Sylvi, c'mon!" Pleading. "Sylvi, he's bad news..."

"Please? He's... please? I don't feel good about this at all. Can we go home now?"

"I..." she's still staring at his sleeve...but then she shakes her head. "Messing with somebody else's Hold is really not in my particular skill set. I mean...unless it was maybe a Leanhaun Hold...?" she suggests, hopeful that there might be a justification.

"Oh... yes, there are Leanhaun at the hold from time to time" truth

She sighs. "It's not the same..." Real disappointment. "Yeah, Dags...let's go."

She reaches for Sylvi's hand.

"ANother time, Sylvi, Dags" he inclines his head "to show no bad feelings.." He flips them each a token

She takes the offered hand....oh! and catches the shiny token as it flickers through the air.

A bit more of a smile at that.

She snags the coin with her free hand. "We'll see."

"Talented girls.. such a shame.. my furking loss" He bows and gestures "That will take you back to the subway. Be careful, my protection is not in place anymore" Truth

A ramp has opened

"Maybe try shooting straight, bub. Insteada whatever game this was." She heads for the ramp with Sylvi.

"I am a crooked man," Mister Glytch says "Just trying to keep his crooked house from falling over"

Sylvi gets dragged along, and looks back to say, "Thanks for the tea, though!"

The ramp lifts them away,, closing behind them... and Osmun Glytch now alone, curses a blue streak "Furk furk bollucks furk tits sotting dreck on a D'aan, the window is closed. " And he goes back to plotting.

As they go to the Subway, it would appear it is heading back toward the EW way

"Let's go home - I wanna see Mom and Dad, yeah?"

Sylvi looks at the subway car...and the token in her hand...and bites her lip. "Don't suppose you'd want to explore more? There's other places...."

"THat's hte one.." A voice booms out "She took my pass" A man says to tea kettle soldier "Took me forever to get off... damn piskies!"

"Another time... oh, crap..."

a kettle head nods to the nocker and starts to go after the girls... just as the doors to the subway open

"BOOK IT!" She bolts FOR the train.

"Huh? Oh! Hey, no hard feelings, okay?" And she tosses the keys back to the nocker. "Must have picked 'em up by accident!" she explains as she follows Dagmar quickly onto the train.

The satyr is on like a flash, and the piskie tosses the keys and runs... the nocker grabs his keys. The kettle head lunges..

and the door closes blocking it off

She skids to a stop on the carriage, laughing. "Ohcrapohcrapohcrap..."

they are safe inside the subway

Sylvi is also laughing and she spins in a little dance as the train lurches into action. "That was AMAZING!"

And catches Sylvi in a tight hug AND a kiss on the cheek. "Made it!"

The hug is happily returned, a proper squeeeeze! "We did!"

"Okay, so NEXT time, we see where the train ends, and we STILL have to do Firnost..."

"So true! Hey, we could go now...oh, right...you want to go home..." A sigh, but a smile. "It's all good."

"I am supposed to be home for dinner... I didn't ask before going on the trod. I just got so excited I forgot!"
