"Oh, I know, I'm teasing," Sylvi rests a hand atop Dagmar's and smiles warmly. Then a shrug to Siv. "It doesn't matter. We fixed it."

"Yeah. Jerko."

"Fixed? So the scawlawag is awaiting trial before the king or his chosen judge?"

"Oh, no. He just doesn't have access to do the deed. It's all good."

A sidelong look to Dagmar as she asks Siv, "So, Bancroft was at Teaneck when he said all this?"

"At teaneck, yes" She notes the shift of subject back "Ladies, I can tend to my own affairs of the heart. Thank you for worrying so"

"I don't know if we can try a person for what they wanted to do..."

"And I think we ruined his window, anyhow."

"Well, yes, but I think he must be upset, too...I mean, to lose you? He must be devastated."

Then she laughs and waves and runs off.

After a few strides away, she checks to see if they're watching her. If not...she tosses Siv's keys in the air victoriously, catches them, and heads for her car.

Siv, unaware she has been pinched, goes for ice cream

Dagmar is nattering on about her adventures - goblin town, and how beautiful Tove is as a selkie...

"She sounds it" Siv says "oh I envy the selkie cookie"

And she and Siv head vaguely hold-ward. "I think she was going to try to convince Dad to go to the shore today..."

"Then go with them, no need to spend your time with me"

"Pshhh. They need newlywed time!"

"You seem to be far more comfortable with that as a satyress." Siv says and ..;

"Well, yeah. I guess! It's natural, right? And they love each other, so they should."

"QUite right" She agrees "Though at this rate you may end up with a baby brother or sister"

"Oh... oh, wow.."

"I didn't think about that..."

"Sorry, don't mean to scare you"

"...Dad took an oath, so it's magic, and real now." Reassuring herself.

"of course it is," She says "my father and mother have two daughters, and they love us both deeply."

Sylvi navigates the borrowed car to the Barony of Teaneck. And she pretty much kinda sorta remembers the way....

Well, Sylvi is glad she's had practice... and no cops showing her. There's an immense satisfaction in stealing a car. She feels like Nick Cage in gone in 60 seconds
