"You were here?" Piskey-Sylvi asks. "It's kind of cool. Did you know this place used to be where the Chieftain would hang out, even before Rivervale? It used to be a subway station, even before that."

"Wow... hey, you wanna explore?"

"Here? Huh...I never thought about it before. This is...this has always been the place you just sort of get through to get elsewhere." A cautious moment, then, "Well...sure! Might find something neat. Be careful, though. Nasty things down here."

"Well, we're still Rivervale! Shorter, but plenty brave!"

As they move to the tunnels rather than taking the trod to Firnost... they notice the area echoes with the claps of hooves... and get a feeling they are being watched.

She shivers. "Brrrr. Creepy!"

"Well...I dunno about plenty brave..." Sylvi does sound a little tense. "Do you have Flyswatter?"

"Oh, no - I forgot!"

Indeed she did. For the first time in forever!

She freezes. "You...don't?" She checks to see if she's got her Bowie knife on her.

"I don't think Flyswatter is satyr sized..."

And oh.. someone forgot their knife.

In their defense, they're not exactly themselves

Dagmar reaches to take Sylvi's hand.

Sylvi trembles a bit. "Well...okay...let's just keep an eye out, okay?" As they resume their explorations.

Indeed, it's ..kind of harder to be brave when you don't have the iron will and muscles of the guardian kith.

"And...if it's a subway line...well, even if it's blocked off, we could find our way to the surface in a pinch if we needed to, I guess."

While the strongest glamour is from the sealed off sections of the deserted hold, and the trods that are still open...

"Totally..."

there is sa flicker, something further down that line there...

"You wonder why it got sealed off?" Yup, still holding on to Sylvi's hand for support. "What's down that way?"

"Oooh...I don't know..." she's drawn to that flickery thing, whatever it is. "Let's go see!"

Shuffle, shuffle... then. "Okay!"

In the darkness, Sylvi says, "Huh...I just realized...you don't wear any rings or anything, do you?"

"Nope, not really. Why?"

"Dunno, just noticed it, is all." And they shuffle closer to the flicker.

The sense that something is watching them ..passes... but they get closer and closer to the glamour and ....enter a completely closed off tunnel, at least, it's supposed to be... there's graffitti here. To mortal eyes (If one uses their phone or what not as a light source) one can see anarchy symbols and gang sigs...but to fae?

It says clearly 'Count to One Hundred, keep off the rails... dumbass'

"Is... you think this is the way in?"

"Probably..." Sylvi shivers with nervous eager excitement. "One..." she begins.

"Two..." She shivers and stamps a hoof.

Sylvi smiles, "Three..." and they continue that way, speeding up the count as they go, and occasionally breaking into fits of giggles.

As the counting goes, one to a hundred (Wow, it feels like it takes forever) everything is quiet at first...but when they get pasts fifty five, the sign starts to glow... when they get to 75, they can feel a tremor

Oh, this IS exciting! And scary! But exciting!

Sylvi clutches the satyr's hands as they keep counting!

"...98..."

"...99...!"

And together they cry, "ONE HUNDRED!"

the subway train pulling up doesn't quite fit anything that ever existed in history. Sylvi is pretty sure it's nocker work, for it hisses steam almost musically from various pipes along it's sides, with all the release of fat man happy to let some air out

"...whoa..."

The piskey's eyes go even wider than usual with delighted amazement. Then she leaps in the air with a happy cry! "C'mon! Train ride! Let's go!"

VIsually, one can see the plethora of pipes is only the begining, gyres and wires, cogs and sprockets are just behind the maze of pipes and click click click open a set of double doors before them.

She dives through the double doors, dragging Dagmar with her.

Dagmar is still stronger than Sylvi, but if nothing else surprise might have the piskie pull the satyr along without too much trouble.

"Sylvi!"

She's in, and there's plenty to see... besides, Sylvi's her friend.

The doors close behind them with a woosh, SLAM, click click ticky ticky sort of series of noise that sound a lot like the tumblers of a lock closing.

"Um... Sylvi?" A rising note of uncertainty.

Within, they see a mostly empty box car with seats on each side, and handle bars aplenty. There's a sign on one wall that says 'no man spreading...' with a silhoute picture of a female satyr grabbing a guy's legs like she's about to make a wish and under that 'no woman spreading either'

Sylvi's staring around the train car, excited for the trip. "Come on! It'll be fun, we'll see somewhere new!"
