"Oh yeah, fun..."

She laughs at the sign. "Okay, no spreading, period."

"Oh, c'mon...we'll be fine!" She explores a bit more, especially if there are any boxes or cargo containers around.

"Have a furking seat already" The nocker, the only one in the boxcar with them is old, like, really old. He has a Derby hat that looks like it's made from a large cog with a giant thimble fused to it.

Joy was easy. Enthusiasm was easy. But it seems like trepidation comes on just as strongly...

"Oh!" Sylvi jumps at the new voice. "Oh, hey! Sure, sorry, didn't know that was the rule. Are you the conductor?"

And he sets down a copy of a chimerical paper that says 'The New York Pissed- All the outrage that's pitched to give fits'

She grabs a seat and drags the satyr to sit next to her, then takes on the pose of the prim-and-proper-schoolgirl-on-a-train-trip, bright-eyed and eager to go.

She sits, nervously looking around.

She automatically plucks up the paper he set down and starts looking it over, holding it so Dagmar can see, too.

"Conductor? " The guy snorts "The staff here tries to interact as little with the public as they has to. At least until it's time to take the tokens"

"We don't have any tokens."

Wow, this is like old timey outrage .. like a pissed off section of Reddit, but with paper and a lot of complaints aobut.. well, everything that's wrong in Concordia today

"No tokens? Oh you two are screwed"

Sylvi only half heard that as she was reading. "Huh? Tokens? What tokens?"

"Well, let us off."

"Not up to me, this thing only has four stops. You got on at one of them."

"But we haven't left!"

"How do we get a token?"

A hiss chooka sound and the train lurches

and they're going to.. one of the other four?

A wide-eyed look at the satyr.

"We're gonna be in so much trouble..."

"Well, that's not my problem. I got a life time pass" He says and holds up what looks to be a keychain with several keys, a compass, a toe nail clipper, and yes, some sort of metal looking card

"Huh...is that your pass?" Sylvi points at the card on the keychain.

"Yup! Got it years ago, before David v anished and came back. Back when Kithains were furking Kithiian, not all easy peasy for wilders like they are now..."

"Hey!"

"Wow...you must be old," Sylvi says with appreciation. "What's something you remember from way back then? Maybe about a not-so-whiney wilder?" She gives Dagmar a little wink.

Eyebrow - Sylvi must have a plan, right?

"I remember when a Gwydion sidhe went crazy and tried to kill his sluagh friend... did they whine? NOOO"

"Hey! Gwydion aren't crazy!"

"When they get a mad on they'll go freak out and kill you and anyone around you, at least the old schol ones..some of the new ones just plot against you... but back then, Falcons were FALCONS."

A huff.

"She's one, y'know." She nods at Dagmar. "And...she's more than usually cranky today, already. Be a shame to be trapped in a locked train car with her if she gets REALLY pissed off...."
