"Enough, I know wenough, and a fair price is agreedupon yes.. but what is a fair price mmm? "A chuckle "Well, of course you don't." To Sylvi "And I didn't see a thing..if that helps. Yes It might" he considers "what would you consider fair payment for a delivery?"

"Tokens!" Sylvi says.

"I still want to know what it is you're asking us to deliver."

"...and dross," she adds reasonably.

"How do we know you aren't using us as mules for some shady shit?"

Sylvi looks at Dagmar. "You're so suspicious."

She nods. "Yup."

"Tokens ? For the subway... done!" He says "And yes, dross." Then to Dagmar "I am hoping to use you both yes, and it is I guess shady in that I don't want folks to know about it."

"Why not?"

"Because some folks are very very furking vengeful" he says

"Why do you deserve help?"

"Because I am willing to pay for it, by the wazhoo load.. and I want to help Goblin Town."

The young Gwydion hears truth in what he says, at least that part of it

"Hey, Dags, he helped us out of the maze, right? So...maybe he's just a helpful guy!"

"It's arlight, Dags has every reason to be suspicious" A sip

"We found our way through the maze. And who dumped us there in the first place?"

"How long have you been watching us?"

"Hey! That was a fun maze, don't get cranky about it...."

"I'm not cranky, I just don't trust this guy."

"Hey, he's going to pay us. That's better than we got coming in here." She turns to the nocker and juts a thumb at the satyr. "She's really okay, but kinda wants to play things straight."

"Oh, for a little while.. look, I understand, here I am, some scawlwagaitz you don't even know in a notorious town, but I'm walking a line between honesty and secrecy..not furking easy"

Her jaw juts out - while much is changed in her appearance, Sylvi knows THAT expression.

"You haven't answered why you deserve help. Paying ain't enough. Lots of people can pay for what they don't deserve."

"way of the furking world" he says "I want to help GOblin Town. It has problems. I have a way to do that"

"C'mon, Sylvi, let's go home."

"But i need someone to deliver something for me for it to work" He answers "Wouldn't you want ot help your home..whever that is?"

Sylvi sighs and, restless, gets up and starts to pace around the room, looking at the decorations.

"Go home? How? You know which way is home?"

"Sure. Get up, get out, get to the city and we're fine."

"We don't need the train, we can get home."

"I can offer you a treasure instead if dross wears out too quickly?" He makes a gesture, "or this.."And the clock work butterfly is in his hand

Sylvi takes on a pleading tone. "Dags, this is an adventure...c'mon, let's do it!"

"Ohhhh...." Sylvi looks at the treasure she chased before. "I'm in!"

"Sylvi! He's... " Hoof stamp. "He's using us!"

"And I'm NOT gonna be used by some JAGOFF who acts like I'm DUMB!"

"Okay! Head on home, tell them I'll be back when I'm done. It's good!"

"Were you watching us, Mister? Do some mumbo jumbo soothsay spooky thing?" Pace pace pace, hooves never stopping.

"Nuh-uh. I'm not gonna let him get you hurt."

"Now now, I watched you yes, when you came into Goblin Town.. you set certain omens off, make something possible" All true

"...Keep talking..."

"You worry too much. Look...it's a delivery job. I can do that! I'm quick, and I'm clever. And you know what? So are you. We're getting paid. I'm okay with this."

As Dagmar interrogates, Sylvi inches a bit closer, watching the butterfly.

"now there is a slight danger involved..."

An eyebrow. "Don't minimize. Cut to the point."

"You have a lousy poker face, by the way, so I wouldn't try being too clever." Arms folded.

He looks to Sylvi "Thank yo ufor your trust. " then a sigh at Dagmar "hurtful. There is a statue...dropped off at a certain location... it's being delivered somewherek, I need two of you to put something in the box with it. That's all"

Something about that gets Sylvi's attention. "Put something in the box? With the statue?"

"You say it's to protect Goblin Town, I'm sure you believe that - but will doing this harm anyone?"

"It is.. this will help Goblin Town a great deal. And no person will be hurt"
