For Frank, it's tense. His daughter in a bloody fight for her life, and he's expected to just..stay back here? The noise, the violence, the cursing!

He really thought video game arcades were dead

Arms crossed over his chest and a stoic frown on his brow, he stands g.... waits.

SIv's video game character plunges her hand into her foe's back, and rips out his spine showing it to the world "Perfect Lethality!"

"Wooo!" Siv smiles, "See Dad, if you got me one of those X Box things, I could do this at home." A grin

"Good point." He says heavily. "But not in the Box thing's favor."

Siv sighs, "You make it sound like fictional organ removal is a bad thing. Half the stories I was raised on involve someone getting an axe to their neck or the like" Her next fight is starting up.

Grunt.

While she plays, Frank notices others around the place. Many of them his age on a nostalgia kick...

He sees one out of order arcade game, flickering with glamour. The tape over it that says 'out of order' appears to have been there awhile. The name of the game is 'Post Apocalyptic Trucker'

He uncrosses his arms slowly, and drifts closer.

Seems plugged in, kind of has an 80's mad max vibe to it, but with a semi... Frank is no expert of video games, but he doesn't recall this one.

It flickers and glows with glamour though.

Frank lays a palm on it, checking.

Takes quarters... and he suspects, if he were to charge a quarter with glamour and insert it....mmmm it would 'work' but what does working me?

"Avast, no fair," Siv calls out at her game as the difficulty level jumped

Frank looks around, checking on his girl... and back to the machine, thinking.

Siv is fine, just in danger of not breaking into the top five scores

"Siv." He rumbles. "When you are done, come here."

"Sure, dad I..." a sigh, "I just had my head cut off, and drop kicked into a basketball hoop. Don't worry, I'll get better. And one day, I will have time and quarters for righteous revenge." Siv walks to join her father, "What did you need, father?"

He takes her hand and places it on the machine.

SHe touches "It's got glamour..." she says "I can't tell exactly what type." Siv seems surprised.

Frank nods. "So. If I put money into it...."

"Or dross."

"Then, it should activate the treasure or whatever this is..." VERY intrigued, "Can we? "

Frank exhales. "If your mother was here... without question."

"But you're the trucker" She reminds

He chuckles. "Your mother can handle a rig."

She snickers, "Remember when Vali showed up in your rig to help load the Kestrel? I thought your left eye was going to pop out."

"I thought his was." A grumble, deep.

"come on dad, we should test this out before it enchants some mortal and endangers them," Siv says

He nods, starts into his pocket, then stops. Looks at Siv.

Siv looks at him, "Treasures sometimes enchant right?

"Yes."

"You brought mortals into it on purpose."

"Jessica says mortals are important to you" She points out. "I didn't know if you thought of that part yet but I Know, well, oak and all"

He sighs. "Right. You don't have a telephone around, do you?"

She pulls out one, "This is a track phone? Vali gave it to me, says it's not 'registered' like most are?"

It looks like phone numbers of loge members are already preset

"Right." He takes it, and his glasses from his breast pocket. He uses the glasses to poke at the buttons, dialing Rivervale.

The phone picks up, and Sally Mae answer "Hello, Sally Mae speaking"

"Sally Mae, Frank. Siv and I have found...." He explains the situation. ".... I wanted to let you folks there know."

"I see," She writes it down, "Okay. I've got the location of the arcade...they still have those things? And what you told me"

"Tell.... nevermind." Quietly. "We're going."

When they hang up, Siv looks excited, "We're doing this?"

"We are."

She claps her hands, "Yes." Then quieter, "Thanks."

"Hmmph. Welcome. Don't think that.... well."

"I know, dad."

She pulls out a quarter and puts just a bit of glamour into it, "Can I put it in?"
