Well, as good as it, Frank times it just right, the speed, when to hit the ramp angle, and he swears under his breath like a nocker trying to WILL the machine to make it!

And Frank races into what he hopes his last dangerzone (DANGERZONE!) before he can drop off the books, and perhaps end this game with his daughter and he alive

"KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN." He orders.

"I hear you" SHe callss out restraining sarcasm.

The final level looks to be...oh who designed this game? Double the number of mutants, many of them in better if still scrapwork gear. with better weapons??? And more potholes, logs, and other things to weave around in the road

Frank tries to focus on driving, and not his daughter bouncing around in the back.

He glances at the dashboard, looking for something specific now.

These games often have enhanced vehicles; flamethrowers, oil slicks, jet propulsion....

Hey! It wasn't there before, but apparently he did get a bonus! Yeah, Caltrops! Made of rusty scrap steel, but nice. Can spray to the sides or behind.

He nods, watching for the need to use them.

That time comes sooner than he would like. Two different columns of pickups come in great number on each side! A monster truck gaining behind him! Realeasing to the sides and then behind, he notes the caltrops work great! Three vehicles get their tires and part of their undercarriage torn into, causing them to spin, spill, and block others which also get up into it.... soon htere is a seven car pile up and much slower pursuers. Some explode in with a 'boom' logo in the explosion cloud.

"YOU OK UP THERE?"

"What? Did you say something? Sorry, ears are ringing!"

"ARE. YOU. OH. KAY.??"

A pause, "YES?"

Ahead and on the side, he sees catapults? Yes, scraped together catapults, and mutants are clambering into it

"GET DOWN! COVER UP!!!" He hammers the accelerator.

"But I need to shoot..."

Flump Flump Flump....

It's raining mutant cannibals!

Frank gets every piece of speed he can out of this thing.

There are two mutants up there with his daughter

"SIV! YOU OK!?!?"

"Dad, I am trying to FIGHT Up here, Don't have time to talk" There's a sound of a chainsaw

Gritting his teeth and struggling with the rig to keep it moving and on the road. These engines won't let him stop on a dime. He looks ahead to see if there's any chance of a break, a place to stop and help.....

MORE mutants ahead....he hears Siv taunting her foes between chainsaw revs

And MORE mutants behind? Stopping is impossible, in fact, he's gonna need to punch it to get through this next batch

He growls at Siv's taunting and hits the accelerator again.

Every sound he hears only half way, he imagines could be his daughter in pain, every squee of a chainsaw, he has to wonder if it's his girl or her foes getting chopped up. Frank King is not a happy man! ANd he swerves between targets and when need be rides OVER Them. Indeed, he appears to have won some achievement or prize because ....

"RUBBER DUCK SAYS GIVE EM HELL!" and a new button has appeared with a Rubber Duck symbol

"Dad..." Hard breathing "I ...got em"

"Rubber Duck can get fff...." He trails off into an uncharacteristically blue mutter.

"YOU HURT?"

ANd before Frank, he sees it, an 18 Wheeler even more ridiculously armored than the one he's in. With barbs and spikes, covered in black and red, and hellfire designs!

It's heading towards him in a game of chicken!

"You should see...other guy" SHe calls out

"Boss Battle, Dad!"

"GET DOWN."

"I can soften him up!" a protest, "The big gun!"

Frank snarls, then shouts. "DO IT."

BUDDA BUDDA BUDDA (No relation to the more peaceloving Buddha Buddha Buddha) but the bullets go wide, half the time, the other half? don't penetrate's armor.

And someone on the top of the Demon Semi Fires back!

"They've got a gunner too!" And...the two vehicles close! Rapidly!

Frank holds the rig steady, going straight at him.

"Dad, when you said 'Do it!' that meant go on and fire? Or... the get down? I took it as go on and fire but in retrospect..."
