Rutgers lays quiet.For the most part. No classes today.

No, they start after MLK day. But still, time to return after a precious few weeks at home.

"Hey, Giiiirl" Masey waves

"Hey." A subtle upnod.

The longhaired satyress seems in good spirits, and has a new coat in a rainbow pattern.

Chimerically speaking, the college seems to be having a new crop. Two gossiping snowbunnies (Bunnies MADE of snow, but sounding like valley girls) are making comments about folks. where did that dream come from? who knows.

"Good break?"

"Excellent" She nods "I got to see a fantastic drag show concert, it was a fund raiser to stop the lies and hate? Oh it was awesome. You would have loved it! Some of the performers were..." She looks around to make sure no non enchanted are about, "kith"

"Yeah? Here or home?" Not that she knows where 'home' is for the satyr...

"Near home" Masey answers, "Well, Dad's home. I have to split my vakay"

"Yeah? Where's that?" She unlocks the door, and nods at it. "Coffee?"

"Sure" Masey nods "And thanks. " At the question she snerks "Would you believe Erie? Erie, PA."

"Oh, by the lake! I've never been out there. Is it pretty?"

"Can be. I mean, it has some dirty spots and bad neighborhoods...gives it character" She winks "But the moon on the waves while you've got the city lights jamming in party mode? Not bad"

"I get that. I mean, we live in Jersey." She chats as she sets up the coffeemaker. "Home for me has a lake, too."

"Not THAT big, obviously."

"Hey, if everyone had them that big, the tourists wouldn't visit us" A wink "You got a lake? huh. You know, I used to tell Jersey jokes, but parts of it really are nice now that I'm looking around." An admiring glance "Lots of pretty sky and other blue"

"Maybe some weekend we can hit Rivervale?"

"Hey, I was hoping to drop by anyway.. so jammin. I mean, you guys are kind of famous. Like apparently your chief punched out a dragon?"

"Chief's a big damn hero."

"Ain't she just" A smile "See, I speak nerd. Kinda. Did she really punch it out though? I mean, the stories I hear about your lodge are as wild as my hair in a strong gust"

"She did."

"Awesome" Masey tries not to woop, remembering they might have a sluagh friend here

"Chief is... yeah. I want to be like her, someday."

"Jimmy says you jousted a thunderbird, and won. so sounds like you're on your way"

"It was a Ford Thunderbird."

Keys in the door.

A little fumbling, and Sylvi wrestles some suitcases and bags through the door.

Masey breaks out laughing.

"Hey!" She goes to help Sylvi.

She looks up with surprise. "Oh! Hey, Masey!"

"Thanks," she gives Dagmar a grateful grin.

Masey's long hair whips about 'oh, hey, sylvi. Sorry, wasn't laughing at you being loaded down. I just found out Dagmar jousted a CAR. I thought it was a REAL thunderbird, but in some ways this is more awesome"

"You're just hearing about that now? That was, like, her claim to fame for a while." She dumps her burden carefully in the hallway.

"Oh we were just shooting the breeze about our vakaays and such. How was yours?"

"Pretty good. I mean, you know...home, family, food, no classes, what's not to love?"

"So much food."

"Yeah, I'm gonna have to do a LOT of workouts to compensate."

"Hey, if you guys want to run around the quad sometime... strength in numbers"

"or dancing" she suggests

"Well, with track starting I'm not worried."

A dusting of purple on her cheeks at the mention of dance!

"Dancing! Perfect! I've actually kind of missed the local nightlife."

"Not too much by way of clubs at home, no."

"OH well we neeed to fix that!" Masey grins "Get Belinda and Chelsea in on it too maybe?"

"I mean, not right in town, anyway."

"Absolutely! Gotta party hard before classes start, I say."

"I can make this happen. In fact," Masey finishes her drink "You two catch up. I think I can arrange us a party room at the club"

"..party room?"

A blink. "Um...?"
