"What soups?"

"The wedding soup is really... oh, no, it has meatballs."

"We have our usual Zuppa Toscana, a Ribollita, a tomato tortellini soup and, if you like Spinach, you might try the Ravioli and Spinach soup" She offers "We do dietary substitions for just about anything but it can take longer"

A blink. "Got nothing against meatballs. The wedding soup sounds good."

"Italian wedding soup it is. Gerd said standard so I know what she's getting and Dagmar took the fries for her side" The winged boggan says "I get that right?"

"Yuh-huh. Thanks, Lucia."

A nod from Rowan.

"Perfecto" Gerd says

Luicia smiles "Thank you for coming to our establishment.. and right on it. " And yes, they leave a bowl of that bread Dagmar was talking about to enjoy while they wait

And it's just the three again

Rowan takes a piece of the bread, looks to see if there's oil for dipping or butter for slathering.

There are options , yes 🙂

Claiming some of the dipping oil, takes a dip and a taste. "Mm, that is good."

"Toldja."

"Lucia's family has been in the biz for generations. It's one reason she only does this part time"

Dagmar's phone rings, and she checks it with a frown.

"I gotta take this, I'll be right back."

"Sure" Gerd says, "So, Rowan... you're from Charm?"

"Yeah. Reminds me: Adelaide says Hi."

A surprised but pleased look spreads upon Gerd's face

"Awesome. I need to drop by and say hi back"

"You get down there a lot?"

Dagmar slides back in place. "Hey. Sorry. I'm good for now, gotta babysit after dinner, though."

"Not as much as I used to, been busy with the change over, how is she doing?" She turns to Dagmar "Hey, Rowan knows my friend Adelaide.. from Charm, which makes sense as they're from Baltimore"

"Guilty as charged," Rowan quips. Then a look to Dagmar. "Folks going ou?"

"Adelaide is from the Countess's court, yeah?"

She nods "She's the Countess' heir, New Agengard ...wow. Vali may plotz"

Rowan takes a drink of water and looks around the restaurant, gauging how many other fae are here.

"Yeah, they have a date. So..." She shrugs.

"Plotz? Why?"

They're in a more private area so they can 'talk fae' and that's probably good, because besides the staff they three seem to be the only Kithain there right now. That may change.

Dagmar still sits up straighter, on a quiet guard.

"Because my Uncle Vali spent some of his childing years there," Gerd looks amused "As a 'spy'. That is, this little troll boy walked up to Thea and announced he was 'Vali the stealthy' and he would be spying on her if that was okay." A chuckle "Apparently she was in a good mood and found that adorable "

Dagmar might be watching Rowan just as warily as the rest of the restaurant.

A grin that might or might not be a smirk. "'Adorable' sure sounds like the word."

"Understand, my source is anything but unbiased" She says "Uncle Vali still visits at least twice a year to pay his respects"

If Rowan's aware of the scrutiny, they're not reacting to it.

"Now, Rowan, how IS Adelaide? " If Rowan answered that the first time Gerd missed them saying it

"So of course Charm would have heard the call. Rivervale is a lot less in the limelight than Baltimore, though."

((Rowan's player missed it!)) "Oh, I don't know her well. Seems like she's doing okay, though."

"oh" Gerd is a bit dissappointed that Rowan doesn't know her friend that well but lets it sldie "Glad she's doing okay" She looks over at Dagmar "Yeah, though Charm doesn't always like being given much attention. Not in their nature. "

A shrug to Dagmar. "I mean, makes sense, if folks visit down there. I just know word got around that your Lodge wanted some more trolls. Why just trolls, though?"

"Told you before."

"We're a Lodge."

A brief pause. "Got that part. So...no other kiths allowed in the Lodge at all?"

Snort.

"Not that at all, no. Some Lodges, maybe."

"A lodge isn't just a freehold, it's a cultural preservation. The sidhe took a LOT of holds, a LOT, from Commoners of all kiths, but few got their lands taken from them as much as we trolls. The Accords of High King David helped return or recognize many of them.. "

"But it IS a hold, so anyone can ask for haven for 3 nights or so, and some non trolls are true allies who visit all the time"
