"Sorry, Rowan" She adds "Didn't mean to mislabel"

A slight arch of one eyebrow, but no comment.

Entering in, a boggan greets them, an older man, he smiles when he sees Dagmar and Gerd "Ladies, the reserved tables?"

"THis is Rowan" Gerd says "They're our guest"

"You didn't realize," Rowan says to Gerd. An easy enough acceptance of the apology. They start to get irritated when the boggan refers to 'Ladies' but then realizes that he's only referring to Gerd and Dagmar.

A bit of a grin to Gerd at the introduction. Then a nod to the boggan. "Hey. These two have been telling me your food is great."

Dag hangs back a bit, quietly watching.

The older grump boggan is.. surprised but only for a moment as he meeets his first non binary person that he knows of, and sayss "Very good, and yes, Rowan, a pleasure to meet you. YOu won't find better" And he motions them to follow. The table waiting for them has plant life to give it some visual cover, and is quiet enough "I'll get you menus, unless you prefer to use the apps?"

Gerd is surprised "You finally put up an ap for the menu, sir?"

"I don't like them, but...one needs to make adjustements" He admits "Unlike SOME places my prices don't change by the hour"

"Oh no, not you too?"

"I don't want everything on my damn phone." Grumble.

Rowan's already digging out their phone and searching up the restaurant menu.

A bit of a smirk. "Kinda old fashioned, huh?" to Dagmar.

"Ah, Miss Dagmar you bring joy to this grump's heart" The boggan says and brings her a menu

She shrugs. "Maybe. Whatever, you gonna razz me about being old, too?" She takes the menu, scowling now.

Gerd gives Rowan a headshake

She picks at the gold-and-green trim on her voile. "I know I'm a stick in the mud. You want excitement, you should check out Goldfinch."

"You're not old," Rowan says easily, scrolling through the menu.

"I don't think s... they meant anything" Gerd says kicking herself as she almost forgets

"Hell, I know grumps that are tech forward, and I know childlings that are positively antiquated. Ain't about age. It's about style."

Shrug.

"my style is witch" Gerd answers as she goes over the selections. She knows what she likes but she figures she'll do it anyway

Her jaw is tensed, a touch of flinty irritation on her shoulders.

"What do you two like here?"

The little heartbird perches on her shoulder, clicking it's beak a little. It's presence slight, but a reminder of her Oath.

"The calzones are good, so are the hoagies. I usually get fries with either of'm."

A glance over at Gerd. "Yeah, the 'witch'-core is pretty obvious. Nice gloves, by the way."

To Dagmar, "I kinda want to try the local pizza, but I figure I'll have plenty of time for that. Calzone sounds good."

"Thank you. I tried being subtle but got tired of explaining" Gerd says "I can be a basic bitch, love their lasagna. Four cheese. You don't have trouble with dairy do you?"

"Nope. I got good guts, fortunately."

"Bein' honest, I like the other place for pizza more. Nothing wrong with the pizza here!" She's still stiff, but she's making the motions of being genial enough.

"Oh wow, see I LOVE the pizza here more myself" Gerd ssays "Now I feel all cultured"

At that point, Lucia comes up as a waitress. Rowan might not be impressed by a boggan server, but.. this one has WINGS, raven wings

The wings do get noticed with interest.

"Also, it has karaoke. And the Mrs. Pac-Man table. It's a very different vibe. Hi Lucia."

She takes out her phone, tapping at it.

"I'll save pizza for that place," they say after Dagmar's description.

"Fair. Seriously, calzones, or any of the hot hoagies. The bread here is... fancy? You'll see."

"Okay, okay, Club Zero Cool is fun" Gerd admits

"Ha! Excellent name."

"Hey, you guys easy with praising another place while eating here... my pop will pop" Lucia says "Hey Dagmar, Hey Gerd. And.. hello" To Rowan

"I'm Lucia, and I'm serving today. and taking your orders" SHe adds

A little half-wave. "Rowan. Nice look," nodding towards the wings.

"Oh these old things?" Lucia replies "Wear them ALL the time. Nice to meet you Rowan"

"Heh. Likewise. Hey, it doesn't say specifically on the app, but can you do a spinach calzone?"

"In our sleep" Lucia assures "One Spinach Calzone it is. Got a preferences for a soup or salad with that? it maybe a custom order but you still get soup or salad if you want" then a beat "Also it's not very Italin in most folks eyes, but we can substitute a baked potato on that"

"The regular" Gerd says "That multi cheese Lasagna mmm"

"Chicken Parm hoagie, please? And fries."

"you got it" She says to Gerd and Dagmar
