They might not be stumps, but those are some very deep chimerical wounds. The redcaps aren't running anywhere.

"Shit.." The Fake Dirk says, as Kerri gives her best 'don't fuck with me smile'... "Fine... he's at the run down junkie shack the cops raided last year'

She hooks them by the scruff with the back of the halberd head, like hauling a snapping turtle - hard to bite between your own shoulders. The trio are dumped in a pathetic little pile.

And so... Dirk is found... Bound, gagged, and beat up. He didn't fight back to the torture they did to him because his cat is in a cage. He has wounds alll over, and is lucky not to not be missing fingers or even limbs.

Kerri gives some very pointed instructions for the 'caps to stay out of Rivervale "...because we won't be gentle the next time."

Dirk (and Peach?) get brought back to the Lodge for some quality healing and rest.

Dagmar grumbles about letting the corby off easy after seeing Dirk.

Dirk grumbles something "Permission to hunt them when I'm healthy again?"

Peach is scared but fine

"We'll talk," Kerri assures him. She'd like to hunt them, too, but knows she has to put some limitations on it.

The first 'challenge ' to Kerri's rule by a Corby is a success. They thought Without Brekke the Barony would be weak and easy. They were wrong, not counting for Kerri's efficiency, or the power And skill of the Hammerstrike. The attempt to frame Dirk for kicks failed utterly... and Serenity fusses over Dirk angry at him for getting hurt!
