Dagmar's track pays off, as she leaps easily out of the groove, and doesn't fall back in. Kerri gets clear, barely, the slippery terrain working against her. That could have crippled even a trolll so good thing

Dirk's voice calls out "I ain't your pet no more... stay out of the woods. Cap territory!"

"Who th'fuck called you a pet?"

Kerri can see the tree was BITTEN to make it fall

Kerri scrambles awkwardly to get her footing. Then she stands and looks in the direction of the voice. "That's not going to work for us, Dirk. Who're you with?"

"My Corby" the answer for Kerri rather than Dagmar "Where I belong. Brekke's gone. Not like anyone can hold us back now."

A snort.

"Your so-called corby called you a pet, so you proved it by running and waggin' your tail?"

"I'm not YOUR Pet" A snap

Kerri scowls. "I feel just a wee bit underestimated." Then she calls out louder, "Rivervale is whole! It has Hearth and Storm and Mountain. It has its Chieftain. That corby that brought you to heel had better get out. Now."

"Of course you aren't. You were a big dog. Who made you a bitch?"

A sidelong glance at Dagmar, who seems to be playing a very dangerous game...but she might know Dirk better than Kerri does.

Dag has her arms folded, looking supremely unimpressed.

"Fuck you... I ain't no one's bitch," He says it...and Dagmar knows he believes it true. "I LEAD this Corby" True?

"Do you now?"

In the distance, Echo,Olgar's Dog, approaches. He had wanted to come along.

"A corby that's too scared to be seen? Show yourselves."

Kerri notices Echo, but doesn't gesture or indicate the dog's presence.

"Why, when we can kill you from up here? Honorable fights are for pussies" There's tittering and laughter from others, and... the sound of another tree being cut and bit into

"Honorable fights are for your protection, Dirk. Consider what you wish to deal with."

"Because a little bitch snipes from the shadows, and attacks easy prey."

"Saying you're easy? HA! Slut!" Cruelty intended

Kerri lets Dagmar do the trash talking for the moment. She just rests her hand on the meat cleaver at her hip.

"Ya'll beat up some Nevers."

"And now you're hiding in the trees."

Echo is growling low, ready to attack. He doesn't seem to care that it is Dirk, giving him no more mercy than a stranger

A scowl. Dirk is going to have some serious work to do to come back from this, if there's a chance of it.

"And taking potshots. Well, Dirk, you wanna be this pathetic - you're free to go with the rest of them. But Chieftain says this corby ain't welcome here."

"Better not be any of the ones that were already kicked out. Those banishments still hold."

She covers one massive fist with her other hand, giving a squeeze to crack the knuckles, before doing the same in reverse.

"Redcaps bully the weak. That's a fact, Dagmar. And Not like you can enforce it, Kerri" A smirk sound ... and... the next tree goes down!
