OOC I don't recall off the top, but I would think Liam have limited Charisma? Or a penalty?

OOC MOSTLY I figure that roll there is intimidation.

(Liams don't have a penalty to Charisma that I know of. They do have an Oathbroken rep, but not sure that hurts intimidation. no worries though. Frank got a bonus because he has a huge dog by his side 😉 )

The Sluagh squirms, then says "Look , man, a job is a job... "

He mutters on, "I'll just go, okay?"

Siv is looking over the camera, then frowning "Da. You're going to be mad." A scowl "I know I am."

"Why don't you stay right there?" Frank suggests to the sluagh "What is your name?"

"Well, if you're letting me decide" the sluagh starts to say

Oak growls and makes sure the sluagh gets that if he moves, he will regret the attempt

"Witherton..." The slaugh says "Call me witherton"

"Witherton, care to tell her mother what you were doing here? You said... taking pictures of birds?"

"Yeah... " A swallow "Look. I'm sure her mother is busy. Chieftain and all"

Siv arches a brow "Chieftain, not baroness. Yet you're not a local. "

"And, I can promise you.... for this? She would make time."

A swallow, "Look. I've made a mistake. Keep the camera, it's yours. No harm, no foul."

"Not sure that's going to cut it." Frank says gravely "Sorry, poor phrasing. I meant not going to hack it. Wait, that's no better...."

NOW the sluagh , already pale, looks paler "Ah, look, no women were harmed..."

"No women?" Siv says "how many women have you been recording? "

"Just the trolls. I was told only trolls" The sluagh assures

"Troll women" Siv eyes narrow then she takes a breath and looks to her father "I bet there's footage of more than just me on this... maybe some OF mom too"

"Who hired you?" as soft as the whisper of a garrote. Funny, such a big guy, you'd expect him to be louder....

"I was left a letter, orders.... and some payment. "

"That wasn't his question" Siv adds

"I'm saying whoever did it annoymously. There's a drop box" Witherton gulps

"Hand them over." a firm suggestion.

"I don't have the letter..." Witherton whispers

But he does pull out a wallet "And I got paid in cash"

"Where IS the letter?" Siv says

"Motel. Drop box I'm supposed to go is near Firnost" Witherton mutters

"Mmmm." a low rumble "Where is the motel?"

"Lakeside motel, about three miles from here"

He knows the place

Oak looks ready to sit on the sluagh

"You said you were left a letter, orders. Are they different things? A letter and seperate orders or a letter with orders?"

"No, same" He says

Frank rumbles quietly.

THe guy shivers "Look, you can't hold me forever"

"Oh, there are ways" Siv assures

Frank nods, agreeing with Siv.

"Shit" Witherton whispers

"Your call."

"I told you what I told you" Witherton says "Letter, Motel, dropbox. What more do you want?"

The sluagh gets a grim smile, without humor, as an answer.

A gulp

Frank doesn't budge.

"Da..." Siv says curious "What if he doesn't know more?"

"I think he does. And if he doesn't.... I think he can."

"Oh" Siv nods "Then I'll turn him into a tennis ball and let Oak play catch"

"Up to you." Frank says with finality.

"Wait wait..." Witherton says "I don't KNOW anything else, but I can surmise. Whoever this is has an interest in female trolls... right? Girly pics and stuff... as much as you can do to day to day. He also has money"
