Siv frowns, she's seen the footage on the camera

Now how to tell mom? Or for that matter Hearth Kerri? And Sylvi?

Well, she'll get a chance to tell her mother soon enough. Brekke's coming in the door, a preoccupied frown on her face.

"Hey, mom..."

A nervous look on Siv's face, then she notices her mother's expression, "Everything okay on your end?"

A blink as she realizes that she's got company. "Siv, hello." A pause. "All is well," she adds. Siv will have to determine for herself if this is true. "You look troubled, though. What has happened?"

There was a time she would have tried to weave around her mother's boon out of some stubbornness, but this is not the time, and not just her affected, "Someone, we suspect a Fiona of my House, paid someone to take pictures of the female trolls in the area. I've seen the footage. You wouldn't be happy to see it. Let's say the angles were for cleavage, rear shots, and any other 'sexy' peek they could get."

Her eyes widen and...oh. Yes. There's the Gwydion temper beginning to rise, perhaps a little more quickly than she normally allows. "How do you know this?"

"Because I was on patrol with father when he noticed the snoop taking pictures. Before you rip his .. I mean the photographer's...head off, da doesn't know about the footage exactly, just that the guy was spying. Da gave some pretty good threats, but when the guy told us all he knew, da offered him haven so to speak. He's going to pretend he lost the camera"

She narrows her eyes. "We are offering him sanctuary?" A grumble. Her anger may be interfering with her ability to see the wisdom in this. "Whom did he prey upon? You?"

A breath "Among others. Have a seat, mom, please"

A tense moment...she might refuse...but then she goes to take her seat by the balefire. She leans forward, her hands on her knees, and listens closely.

"Yes, photos of me on the Kestrel, with a broom. I was leaning over, so my butt was in a pose I'd call fetching. There's another of Aunt Kerri putting out a pie from an angle looking down on her. A 'cleavage shot'. " A breath "Sylvi has an upskirt photo, fellow must have been under a grate or something. Dagmar is.. not going to be happy... her's was the most modest to be fair, but it was during her last visit for Easter... Eulalie DeBuke... Tove... and yes, one of you"

Siv gets her mother a cup of coffee

Her eyes are darkening. "These pictures. They have been destroyed." A statement of expectation, not a question.

"They're in my possession, only recently. I wanted to make sure they weren't in the cloud, but he uses old school camera work, high quality ... but not something that connects to the internet, thank the goddesses that protect women from such which ever of them took up that mantle. I was going to destroy them after I told you and Da about it... wasn't looking forward to telling Da." She admits "he may regret his mercy"

"And where is this...guest?"

"This very hold. He's a sluagh named Witherton, or so he claims. " then she says "Before Father let him spend the night here... I took a lock of his hair."

A blink...and a bit of a wolfish grin. "Good thinking, Siv."

A flicker of a smile back "If I'd known then was on that camera I'd have taken a lot more than a lock of it. But thank you. Thought it might be useful." Siv ponders "I'm furious too, mom. I am. The fact it was just a job to Witherton does NOT buy him much forgiveness with me. However, I'm more worried that he's telling the truth. That a Fiona , a member of my own House, is violating our codes of courtly love to do this. We can be wild, we can be even borderline obsessive, but we do our OWN stalking when we slip into that. Least we're supposed to. This is just..." A scowl "Fetish fuel for someone with a thing for trolls"

A deep breath and a slow exhale. "I have had misgivings about many Fiona. This is the extreme that concerns me. Well...one of the extremes."

She considers. "He will be safe for his three-days here, this Witherton. Then he will find out the identity of this Fiona for us." She says this without a doubt.

"In the meantime...I will spend much time destroying practice pells. Loudly."

"Understood. Mom, I think witherton may protest being made to snoop on his employer who was annoymous to him. THat said, I also think what he makes him protest matters little to me. I do have sluagh friends. They tend to be kith loyal ... do you want ME to intervene with them before hand to explain our view, or just hope it doesn't get to them first?"

"Mm." A nod. "Yes, that is wise. I think Zara, especially, would be sympathetic to the fact that your privacy has been violated."

"I think so" She rises "Have fun beating the pells. THey deserve it. "

Grunt ("Give one a whack for me")

"As for Witherton...if his employer seeks to hire a new photographer, that may be information enough for him to give us."

A nod at that too.

A nod. "You may join me, as you wish." She rises and rests a hand on Siv's shoulders. "We will speak on this more. We much decide whether or not to tell the others. But let us speak on that after I have a chance to...vent."

With that, Brekke stalks out through the kitchen and into the training ring. And soon enough the sounds of WHACK-WHACK-WHACK echo throughout the Lodge.

Siv nods, and after a bit... grabs a weapon to join her mom. She's been pissed herself too. It could be a bonding experience
