Siv walks back from patrol with her father "Thanks, Da. It was interesting. I never mused at an easter egg hunt before"

To most, she appears to be wearing a sundress. Her voile is of the more standard stuff

Frank walks along with her. "Welcome, Siv. Glad you found it interesting."

"Well, fun too.. the look on that kid's face when the egg lit up and glowed" A chuckle, 'Did help him find it though. "

He chuckles too. "Easter magic."

Oak barks , greeting them and racing up to Frank. Possibly squeezing between him and Siv.

Siv blinks "Oak, I'm allowed to go on patrol with Da instead of you getting to go with him all the time. Ye jealous lump"

"Oak, heel." Frank orders, but fondly, to put the dog on the outside of the pair as they walk.

Oak heels immediately, and wags a bit as he grins back at Frank

"Honestly, " Siv chuckles "He's worth his weight in peanut butter but he can be a love hog"

"Oak is a good boy." Frank affirms.

Oak walks ahead dutifully, this last part of the patrol just a walk home ....

And yet...

There is someone up a tree

not a childling, not by the size.

Frank pauses, looking more closely.

A sluagh, not anyone he knows... with a camera? Not just a cellphone, but top notch gear

Frank glances to see what he (?) might be taking photos of.

Looks like he's taking pictures of Siv

Frank walks over to the tree as he glances around to see he's not observed..... ?

The sluagh stiffens, apparently he notices Frank closing

Siv turns "Da?"

Oak sniffs the air, and growls

With no mortals present, Frank simply gives the tree a good shake to knock the sluagh loose.

well, some sluagh have thosse sticky fingers...

He falls to the ground with a thud, and looks up to see Frank AND oak towering over him "shit" A whisper

"Hello." Frank greets him "I'm Frank King. This is Oak."

"hi" A whisper

Siv comes up and looks down, then glances to the camera

"I'm curious as to what you were doing up there." he says "Please, enlighten me."

"Bird watching" the slaugh says

"Mmmm....." Frank does not sound convinced "Try again."

"what? I'm not allowed to take film footage?" he says

Siv picks up the camera

"hey, that's mine" the sluagh hisses, but doesn't look away from Frank

Siv arches a brow

"My -daughter-...." he stresses "... will be very careful with it."

Nervous squirming...

Oak looks ...annoyed with this guy

"Look, it's a public area..." Not true, the Kings own this land area

"Try. Again." very very quietly and calmly.

The sluagh swallows
