"THank you. More coffee?"

"Please," she nods, offering her mug. "I have not asked -- you are well, Mountain?"

"Better. The help I've gotten and holidays winding down a bit has been a godsend. Though, high school teaching remains a challenge"

"Yes?"

"I try to protect the kids from banality there, but..well, administration is all on me from there. It's gotten more rigid of late"

He pours her more coffee

She frowns. "You are not struggling with the banality too much yourself, I hope."

"Not yet. But i may sleep here a night or two"

"with the wife and kid if allowed" wryly

"Of course. They are always welcome."

He nods "Appreciate it. Now rest up and enjoy. We'll get that text out"

For her own part, the Chieftain seems to be getting drowsy in her chair by the balefire. She nods...but drifts off.

Vali says "Hey, someone actually took my orders. Had to happen sometime" A fond smile
