For Kerri, it's back in the saddle again, but the vacation for all it's troubles was invigorating! Beach combing and adventure!

And recipes!

She's working on one that Chef Liselle showed her, right now.

Adjusting it a little bit to make it her own.

The smells are heavenly!

Siv comes in through the kitchen from the outside door, bringing less pleasant smells

Kerri glances over. "Hello, Siv!" Then the smell arrives. "Oh! Siv! What is that smell?"

"Booze, and Fiona vomit" She says cringing "Sorry, sorry. Had to help a House brother"

"Oh, ugh! Honey, let me get you a robe." She sets cooking on a low heat and hurries to get one from guest supplies. "You can change out of that and we'll put it right into the laundry. Then you take a shower."

"THanks" Siv says "I didn't want to worry anyone so I took a shot you wouldn't be in here but I guess my timing is wrong" Despite that statement she doesn't fight it, "I really liked that shirt too"

"We might be able to salvage it," Kerri comforts her. "Go on, shower."

"Thanks, Aunt Kerri. It was NOT the adventure I wanted, but had to be done," Now only in a robe, she slips off on bare feet to take that shower.

Kerri shoos her off and dumps things in the washer, adding just a bit of laundry-boost glamour to help get rid of all stains and scent.

A sniffing sound, and Olgar's dog Echo peeks in

PErhaps Kerri's dog too somewhat. He's certainly mannerly

"Echo? Wipe your paws." An unnecessary reminder. Echo always does.

He does, first the front paws, then the back paws.

Olgar comes in after, and he , unlike his dog, forgets

"Good job." The laundry underway, she gets Echo a liver treat.

Then she clears her throat pointedly at her husband. "Feet."

"Huh? Oh..come on, they're barely dirty" He does however clean his feet "How do you always know?"

"Because I always know you." She goes to him and gives him a brief kiss and a quick swat on the shoulder. "Hungry?"

"Starving" He admits "Got training done today... wilders think they're invincible. I didn't dare take a break"

"Any of them have potential?" she asks as she puts together a plate of meat and cheese and bread for him.

"Oh, the DeBuke kid has the knack, but i don't dare tell her yet. Another fellow, he's having trouble."

"Trouble? What kind?"

"Too tense. We trolls by our nature are on guard, but he's always 'on guard' to the point he's wound up. He's gonna stab an innocent thinking it's an ambush one day"

"Dangerous. Anybody I've met?"

She puts the platter down in front of him and passes him a beer.

"Nope. Hesso" he takes the beer "Thank you. Anyway, Hesso seemed 'ready' at first. But this is the first time I've ever been tempted to tell a potential rover to Lower his guard"

"Hmm. Maybe there's something behind that. Perhaps somebody got hurt at some point in his life because he wasn't on guard enough."

"Possible, but I'm not a pooka so getting him to talk is tricky"

"Well...do you have any pooka among the Rovers? I know it's not likely, but..."

"ALl troll society or Jordan would be in like flyn" He says. It's true, Jordan has gotten good. He's also a regular visitor and Olgar has a fondness. The Centaur eats here more often than elsewhere

"Worth a shot." She shrugs. "Well...I'd offer to try to get him to talk, but that would take some maneuvering, to get him here. Hard to be subtle."

"Yeah, only way I could do it isif i unloaded a half dozen rovers in training on you with the promise of a meal. Not exactly fair"

She pauses from cleaning a counter and turns to look at him. "You've already done it, haven't you. Invited them to dinner."

He smiles as if he's done something amazing "Nope. "

A dubious brow. "No?"

"This is where I recognize that would be wrong, because I'm wiser as a husband than i used to be... and instead I wheedle to see if you'd be willing? "

"Hmmmm." She considers his development. "Well...it's an improvement. Half a dozen?"

"Yup. Six of them"

"And when?"

"Tonight, otherwise I have to pay for a lot of pizza at this arcade place the garou like" he says with a 'aren't I lovable' smile

"Tonight?! Oh, Olgar...." A frustrated sigh. "Well, of course we can do it. I'll use the cauldron if necessary."

"Thanks, babe. I really appreciate it. When should I text them to come over ? You can put tnem to work in the kitchen?"

"I don't want six untrained strangers bumbling around in here while I'm trying to prepare...but they can help serve when it's all ready. Tell them 5:30."

"Will do. Thanks, honey. I just need to find a way to this guy"

"Oh, trust me, he's going to get the opportunity to chat as I enlist him in doing dishes."

"I owe you a night on the town" he says
