Echo looks up at them with concern. Is Olgar in the doghouse?

She relents and tugs him close for a kiss. "Jerk."

Olgar kisses her "Yeah, sometimes. too bad I got under your skin . Stuck with me now... and i'm grateful"

She grins. "Wouldn't have it any other way. Now, go on, get. Deliver the invite, and remind them to wipe their feet when they come in."

"Yes, hearth" wink and he's gone t do just that

She shakes her head wryly and starts figuring out a menu.

Siv comes down in new clothes "Thanks again, Aunt Kerri" She sees the Hearth is thinking "everything okay? Thought the meal was small?"

"It was. Not anymore. Can I enlist you for hearth-help duty? We've got six Rover trainees coming for dinner."

"SIX? They'll eat like Lumberjacks after a haul" Siv says, then realizes she didnt answer the question 'And of course. I'm all yours."

"Thank you! Okay, I need to decide...I think we're going to do chickens and some pork roast. Root veggies, roasted. Bread rolls. Sound good?"

"Well, I sure as hell would eat it" She nods

"Good enough. So I'll need you to...." and she starts giving Siv instructions as she herself starts sorting out cooking gear.

Soon, Siv is aiding. She's not as trained as Gerd or Dagmar, but she's enough like her dad and mom that she'll put in the work without complaint. And, well, she's got the best hearth ever to guide her!they get it done1
