Seems to be a small collection of pellets, from the snowy owl that roosts there.

She looks. "I have enough already, for now. You may take those."

"Oh, good." He scoops them into a pocket. "I'll need them at Rutgers. Gonna put them in a jar on the counter, next to the cookie jar." A thin, delightfully evil grin.

A slight hint of a grin. "I am sure others will appreciate that."

"I do hope so. And.. Chief? I hope you are able to help Adam. For everyone's sake."

A heavy sigh. "I only hope that what I do is truly helpful this time," she mutters.

(In the Lodge, Frank's gotten himself food and drink, and sits with his phone on the table, empty plate and glass in front of him.)

Brekke nods towards the Lodge and says, "Come and get refreshment while you are here, Symon." She looks ready to head back up to the Lodge.

He shakes his head. "Gave you the message. I have packing to do. Fall semester comes soon."

"When do you leave?"

"Soon. We have the lease - Dagmar already started moving in."

"Classes start after Labor Day."

Brekke nods. "Is there any assistance you need?"

"Not unless you have a spare car." He says, clearly joking. "It's fine. The bus is under an hour, and we're walking distance from campus. Five minutes. I found the place, you know." A touch of pride. "And I can always fit in Dagmar's glove compartment."

"Hm." Amusement and agreement. Then more seriously, "I will keep you informed." A nod, and she begins to head to the Lodge.

He nods back, and heads out. Home, for now. It's still home, for another couple weeks.

Brekke makes sure her boots are clean before she goes inside. "Frank," she says as she sees him. "I have news."

"You heard from Siv?"

"No. More about Adam. A vision has been reported to me."

She gets coffee and takes a seat opposite him.

"Vali had a vision?"

"I will not be able to repeat this exactly, but... A gift may be taken away unjustly. Flesh and spirit together. A...storm of changes. The rescuer must be rescued. I am Awake in the Dreaming. Danger. Lunacy and too many moons. The Bastard at the Gate of the Hag. The right time is struck on the clock. Strike back. The altar must have its due." A pause. "Not Vali."

"Who?" with a frown.

"It was reported to a source I trust, but whom I should keep in confidence."

A grunt. He taps the phone with a finger, spinning it. "She hasn't called."

A frown and she looks at the phone. "Siv?"

"With information from EarthRunes."

"She's not here either."

A pause. Then she says, "Please call her. Check that all is well. Meanwhile, I must contact Baron Kealan. The idea of a willworker is back in the equation."

He nods and dials on the tiny keypad, leaving the larger phone in the closet for Brekke.

Brekke goes and makes the call to Kealan from the landline phone.

And Siv responds "On my way home"

"See you then." Frank responds "Love you."

"Love you to, Da"

And Siv will arrive from her trip to Earth Runes
