"Hello, Da" Siv says giving him a hug "Sorry took so long. Turned out the Baroness and Baron were in a big contest judging thing?"

"I understand. Your mother's stepped out for a phone call. Coffee or something?"

"Wouldn't say no to a cup, thanks" Siv says "Ask what you want to ask of me"

Frank gets her a coffee the way she likes it, sits with her. "Tell me everything you learned."

"Well, I can tell you Grand Dame Bondraste is feeling poorly"

A sympathetic look there "I spoke to her. Yes, got the story. The rumors are true. Adam chose revenge over love, nearly swore an oath to bring war upon ALL Will workers, which would be like one of us swearing to hunt all garou like Lupe... and just as bad. He was so blind to what was litteraly in his hand that he lost love, Nab, again. HE was sent to quest for her and win her hand such as it was anew. " A troubled look "Mother's going to feel she's to blame for parts of this"

"She already does."

"We both do."

"What oath was he going to swear?"

"An Oath of enemity with all Will Workers" Siv says looking at her dad a bit oddly "And it's not mom's fault. That Djin over stated his power or something"

Frank shakes his head. "What was the wording of the oath? Words matter."

"He didn't get to say the oath, thank goodness but by his own confession to his Grand Dame that was his intent. That's why I said 'nearly'"

Siv takes a swig of her coffee and goes on "Regardless, he had his love returned to him by the Dreaming.. and because she was in the form of a thing, he treated her like a thing. Ignored her, tried to spill his own fae blood for the oath. Bondraste says he was 'not himself'. Me? I wonder if he went mad."

Frank is quiet for a time. "Could any personal bias be involved in that?"

"Absolutely," She agrees " Grand Daame Bondraste's love maybe blinding her to the fact Adam could be insane"

An eyebrow. "I meant your own."

"Oh that" Siv says and considers, then after a moment says "No."

Frank nods.

"Dame Bondraste told you those were the reasons he did what he did? I'm just confirming the details in my mind. These aren't in the notes."

"Now she was very upset, and I was not about to bully an old silver haired lady, and house sister who was feeling sickly for exactitude. But to nutshell? She said Adam seemed so consumed with revenging himself on mages for Nab's sake he was blind that the Dreaming had returned Nab to him. He lamented he could no longer touch her or be touched or some such, causing the Baroness Coradel to be offended by him if ALL he wanted was the physical. Turned out the sword could link with him but he did not give it the chance. Now Baroness Coradel is a woman of passion, but she is a good judge of character, and a better judge of what is Fiona. Sir Bachdion felt the boy had betrayed the very values of the House, and he's been teaching Fiona for decades. Boggan gossip is wilder, but again not positive. At the time, sending Adam on a quest was the ONLY way to hope to save him from Dauntain hood or so Bondraste thought"

"Mm." Frank nods. "I'm hardly a judge of what's Fiona among Fiona. Did you learn anything else?"

"Well, those three are. I'd like to say I am too, but I'm not typical of the House in some ways" She ponders "Oh yes. I investigated others. Boggans, an Eshu he knew, an Eiluned Sidhe... or two. I looked up books in the library. Not all about Adam was negative, of course. He had moments of heroism. There's a reason Zane was a friend. Perhaps that's why the saining struck everyone so hard. He had been a selfish man child, and a social bully to many here. At Earth Runes, he showed signs of improvement, progress... and then... not just a relapse, but a complete clusterfuck implosion. There are some who wonder if something went wrong with the saining, no matter what the namer said"

"Heard through the grapevine about the Namer."

Frank rubs his horns.

"Aye. No longer among us to ask I fear" A shake of her head "A damn shame. Only man who knew his true name aside Adam himself, not that he could honorbly share it"

"Anyway, I did not share so much that Nab had returned as Bunni. I was saving that for the Baroness alone if anyone. Not easy by the way, I had to distract the spiders with popcorn"

An eyebrow.

"Weellll...." slowly "We do want to keep that piece of information as close as possible. Not that it's working."

"I'll say no more about the spiders. They're sweet dears and I don't want them to get fat every time one of us visits" Then she nods "Ah, hit the gossip chain already has it?"

"Anne Marie recognized her."

A low whistle "Well, that COULD work to our advantage. The boggan gossip chain doesn't just flow out, it means if anyone gets more details it might come back to us. You might want to ask her to pass on any 'new' gossip about Bunni or Bunni related things"

"Mm."

"Your mother wants to leave as soon as possible. I'll go with her."

Siv nods "That's your and her call, o course. I'm sure she has a plan for another abscence, but I would really avoid Thane Tiffany for a bit"

"Will Lut be acting Storm again, or Olgar?"

"I don't know."

"Well, I'm free from Spywork now so if you need me as Chief Pro tem just let mum know. Take a load of Aunt Kerri and all" A wink

"I will tell her of your offer."

A deep chuckle and a long sip

Brekke comes back into the main hall where Frank and Siv are. She looks preoccupied, but does rest a hand on Siv's shoulder as she passes. "You are well?" she asks her daughter as she reclaims the seat she had before.

Siv looks up "Aye. Yourself?"

"I am fine," she replies automatically. Then she looks to Frank. "I have overlooked a resource, but Baron Kealan has reminded me -- Jordan's grandmother."

Frank looks puzzled. "I ... don't recall...."

"Wait, Jordan's 'flakey new age grandmother' his words, not mine, is an actual willworker?" Siv looks surprised, then embarrassed "Well, having doubts about me spying skills now"

"Apparently. He warns to 'tread politely.'"

Then to Siv, "You are not expected to know everything."

"You wish to engage with her?"

"Yes, mother. I guess I should have known that too" A wink

Then a sip "Still, can't beleive Baron K didn't tell me. "

"I think I must. The reference to Awake in the Dreaming...I am told it may mean an Awakened One, something the willworkers call themselves."
