Frank could use some greenery.

Oak looks left off a trail, not hostile, but definitely noticing something

Frank looks too.

Klump is not entirely hidden in the green, the big glome waves and moves forward if they seem to have a moment

Frank will certainly take a moment for Klump, greeting him with a salute. "Well met."

"Sir King, you are well?" He asks

"On the whole, yes. Yourself?"

"I am wondering how LIttle Thunder is doing?"

Frank's beard moves. "She is embarking on a new adventure. What we call 'college.'"

"Oh my. She will be up to it, whatever this college brings. She has a strong core"

The grump troll nods. "She does. And the support of her family. She will be fine."

"That is good to hear. I also wish to thank you for your help with the new Ondine. The watery one? She tells me she would have been undone if not for help"

"One of our visitors was also of help. He is known as Happy."

"The Smiling Cloud. Yes. I have seen him"

Frank nods.

"If I see him, I will thank him as well"

"May I tell him to look for you?"

"He is welcome, as are you. You of the lodge have been good to we of the slower dreams. You respect the land as best you can"

"The Chieftess would have it no other way."

"She is a good leader. I do feel indebted. Is there something you and yours need help with?"

Frank is quiet a moment, then asks "Do your kind have any lore that you can share with me about chimera becoming mortal?

That seems to surprise the Glome, then he says "The WOpletingers were once all Chimera, but their dream grew strong enough to undergo the Changeling way , they are a new kith. But they are still not WHOLE mortal, just as you are not"

Frank nods, listening.

"There are other stories however, but less easy to confirm. They speak not so much of kithain, but rather the before times, before the changeling way even, of wizards, sons of adam who knew magic... who could bend the then forces and turn chimera into wives and the like. "

Frank grunts.

"Of kithain working it, only Reweaving of naming coudl do so I suspect, and even then, there would have to a balance. Like water going from one bowl to the next"

"Have you ever heard of one of our mortal kiths become fully Fae?"

"Only in the bowels of the Dreaming, the deepest part. And I did not witness this. And if I did, I would not reemmber well"

"Of course." Frank murmurs.

"We glomes pride ourselves on being the record keepers of the Slow Empires. Would you like mto seek out such lore from greater and wiser brothers?"

"If you could, Klump, that would be a great favor to me.

A nod "I do feel a debt. I will try this thing"

"How is..... Brooke
, I think?"

"Adapting. She is full of questions about the area and slowly making a husk so she can explore more safetly"

"If you, or she, need allies or assistance, I hope you'll let us know."

"We shall" A nod and a wave

Frank nods, completes his patrol with Oak, and returns to the Lodge.

When he gets back, he finds Kerri finishing a debriefing with the Chieftain. The Hearth smiles as she sees him come in. "Frank! Hello!"

Brekke nods a welcome back to him, adding a coffee for you? head tilt.

He shakes his head slightly to Brekke's offer.

"Welcome back, Kerri. How are you?"

"Wonderful, actually! Ashblythe's quest was successful, and her curse has been removed. That blight has been reduced to just a little scar, and she's back at Brightwinds."

"It is very good news," Brekke nods.

"Very good news indeed."

Sounds of a shower on going, probably Gerd

"Now..." Kerri stands. "If you two will excuse me, I need to debrief again with SallyMae and Squire Brogan."

Frank lifts an eyebrow at Brekke.
