The little girl sets her jaw, squares her shoulders and stares HARD ("YOP!")

Sylvi's eyes crinkle and she nods. ("I see you!")

"Whoa!" The girl stops in her tracks "You know I'm here.. I think?"

"See? You're a natural."

Lip-twitch. ("Good job, kid.")

"She is " Olgar says surprised

The ugly girl gives a not so ugly smile at Dagmar ("Thanks")

"Oh, hey...I think I hear Mom bringing stuff into the kitchen. Gonna go report." She stands and pauses to give her dad a kiss on the cheek. "Talk to you later!" she says to the others.

She tips a salute to Sylvi.

And she vanishes into the kitchen.

"Later" Olgar watches her go then smiles

("I got a great daughter") Proud look

"Sylvi's cool." She agrees.

"He's all fluffed up about hsi daughter?" Ashblythe guesses. It would appear this new bit of being a troll has taken her mind of her looks

"Yup!"

"It's such a dad face."

"Totes" A smile

"I mean, Jaymes has only been a dad for a few years and he's already mastered it. Olgar's been a dad for Sylvi's whole life."

"Sue me" Olgar says some old boomer phrase but it's okay "We're both doing good in the daughters department"

"Must be nice to have a dad" Ashleigh smiles

"Depends on the dad" Olgar says honest like

She nods. "It can be. I'm lucky. Jaymes adopted me a few years ago."

"I didn't do so well with humans. I found my family here."

"Sparrow's like a mom to all the kids. Even the ones with moms" Ashblthe says

"Yeah? That's good. I don't know her that well, but she seems decent."

"Oh she is more than decent. She fought for us all... it was terrible before she came. THey put these things inside the wilders and adults that leeched off the glamour.. the tithe. And the hcildlings, we were left to forget"

Dagmar glowers. "That's terrible. That goes against the Escheat."

A pause. "How much do you know about Dagda?"

"Uh the Code yes, Redfang told me. It keeps us from abusing our might"

She nods. "Part of it, yeah. But also about who we are, and finding pride in it. Right, Olgar?"

"Yup. Seelie or unseelie, we follow the Code for a reason. More than one reason. We can debate the meanings, but it holds us together as a kith" Olgar nods

"Oh" her eyes widen ("Intense")

"Yeah, Olgar and I are pretty far apart on the Court line - but trolls agree on the Code."

"And yeah, I know. Sorry I fell for the siren call of summer, Rover. Symon's disappointed, too."

"Oh hey, if Symon can forgive you it's the least I can do" he shrugs

"But there's nothing wrong with being Seelie" Ash says

"Ah, there isn't" Olgar says "Nothing wrong with being unseelie either though and not all Seelie see that"

SHe looks thoughtful, and mulls it over "mmm" Then "I think I'll stay Seelie"

"Grumph" ("So not surprised")

"You're at a Liam hold, too. Liam make Gwydion look winter-ish."

"Sparrow's like an ANGEL of summer" Ash says

A sigh. "She is impressive. Sidhe can be... overwhelming, sometimes."

"They can be... good or bad" Olgar nods "But they need us trolls as much as we need them, I'd say more"

Someone lurking outside the door - the dogs notice, even though the door hasn't opened yet...

"More. We did without them for a few centuries."

"But the sidhe are our natural born rulers" the Childling says

A SNORT, barely audible, especially as the dogs are probably indicating that someone is at the door. It's Symon, but he is lurking, seeing a bit of a crowd.
