"Mm-hm," Kerri affirms with a nod. "So perhaps it would be best if you were present at the dance, just in case trouble occurs."

A brow knit, then Gladiola gives a suspicious look "I see what you're doing, Hearth. I don't know how to counter it, but I DO see it."

And at that, the horses seem to ease a bit. this is another of the trained dogs. Good. Stormwake nickers to show he gets it, and sticks his head out closer to Brekke

Spark flaps over and greets Signe wings spread.

And this surprises Signe. she's seen horses, but never one with wings!

"Hm, and your mother would agree with me." Kerri looks just a little bit smug. "There, now...that's a fair return, I think," referring to the basket.

Brekke pets Stormwake's nose, then pats his neck. "Thank you for welcoming her."

Signe looks at her father, sees how casual she is with the horses, and makes a note. she looks to Brekke. She will add these to those she protects

"It more than is, thank you" The Daireann says

And There's a big dog following the Hearth. Echo dutififully is pacing her

Brekke may not know Signe's exact thoughts, but she recognizes a posture of duty. A nod, and she reaches down to pet the pup's head. "Good."

wagging hard as if she can't help herself and she's somewhat embarrassed about it , Signe enjoys the attention. If she knew how much she's taking after her father from the hips back to the end of the tail she'd know who to blame

A wink to Oak. Brekke knows.

"I should go, Hearth" gladiola takes the basket "Ah, enjoy your escort'

Indeed. while he doesn't get under foot, Echo seems to be on guard duty around Kerri

Kerri notices Echo a little belatedly. "Did you wipe your paws?" she asks.

Echo looks at his paws, seems troubled, goes to a mat and she hears a scrapping sound as he wipes. then he returns to guarding her

"Thank you." Kerri won't tell Echo that she's impressed that he understood, but she'll mention it to Olgar later.

Olgar comes in "Hey, he's doing it"

And Oak wags at Brekke, a canine grin. His daughter will get the hang of the place and learn pets are part of the duty of the people in time

"Yes, you'd be wise to follow his example."

"not liking where this is going" Olgar says 'i mean, he's following my order to pace you. like you were an escort on a trod. You cold wander anywhere right now and he'd wait nearby" Olgar beams 'this is great"

"Is that what that's about? I thought he'd just imprinted on me quickly." She grins at Echo. "Good boy, either way."

"He'll love ya, everyone does" Olgar pets the dog

And Brekke soon is ... purely because it SHOULD be done, taking Oak and Signe on a loop about the area. The fact it's a glorious day to take a walk on? Merely a bonus

And gwen departs with her package, smiling. Proud. they've got their people now, Mischka. You done good
