A voice calls out side "Hail, Rivervale"

Oak sniffs the air, and starts wagging furiously

Brekke steps out the front door to see who calls.

She allows Oak to ease out the door with her.

Dame Gladiola ap Daireann waves . By her side, two dogs. Both of which have grown

One of the Dogs is splotchy, with a white paw, and the other has more standard colors, but a blaze along his nose

"Ah! Greetings, Dame Gladiola." Brekke steps out to meet her. "Oak, come and say hello."

"Go on,s ay hello to your father" She tells both

"All is well at Silverwolf?"

The one with the blaze looks a bit in awe of his Sire, the White pawed daughter however immediately checks her father out, not aggresssivly, but confident. Oak sniffs them and vice versa, and they speak in quiet canine body language

"It is, Chieftain" Gladiola says "And Rivervale?"

Brekke watches the interaction with approval. She knows Oak is a good father.

"Well enough," she says with a nod. "These two have grown well."

"Good stock" Gwen has troll pride "Best of both breeds it seems. Celebdil has developed even further as a Guardian. She's young, and will still want play, but she takes her duty very seriously"

"It is a good trait. Much like her father."

"She will have a new name here. Signe. 'The one who is victorious.'"

Signe looks up at this

"Hear that, Celebdil. You are Signe. That's your name" gwen tells her, "And this, this is your owner."

Signe leaves her father, and approaches the Chieftain, alert, and sniffs the air near Brekke, then wags. She remembers that scent

"Hello, Signe." She crouches down to offer her right hand to the dog. "You are ready to come live with us now, hm?"

Signe lights up, and then, sits down, and puts HEr paw, the white one, on Brekke's offered hand. Perhaps she shakes. Perhaps there is a quiet canine pledge

Brekke puts her silver hand atop the white paw, and quietly says, "Yes. You will care for us, and we for you. Agreed."

"Woof" she says, then licks Brekke

A chuckle, then she pats the paw briefly and draws her hands away before rising again.

Oak approves

"You will show her the way of things here, Oak, yes?"

"Wuff" Oak says He is happy to take on this job. He believes the Pups are the future. teach them well and watch them lead the way. Show them all the duty they possess inside. Give them a sense of pride etc.

"Is Rover Olgar here?" Gwen inquires

She looks to Gwen. "Oak will be far too proud for a few days, but he has earned it. And Olgar was not within, but perhaps he is out back. Come around with me." She leads the way around the Lodge to the practice ring.

And sure enough they see Olgar hacking away at a pell

"Olgar," Brekke calls out. "Visitors from Silverwolf."

"YEah? HEY, Echo!" Olgar turns and grins with fangs "C'mere"

Echo streaks towards his person like a bullet

"Rover," Gwen reminds "Don't spoil him"

"Ah," Olgar says "I've been to the classes. " He pats Echo

"Good luck there," Brekke mutters.

"And the Baron commends you for taking classes with your dog on and off" She adds to Olgar

"Just made sense." He pets Echo.... "Besides, if anything Echo's got a bad cause of the straight and narrow"

A bemused look at the left-handed compliment.

"He's very much a follower , ,Rover. Very loyal" Gwen says

"What can I say? " Olgar says "He won the coin toss. Echo. You're gonna meet the misses and..."

At that, Echo straightens up and goes attentive as if ready for inspection

"Why 'Echo' Olgar?"

"Easy, Echo. She's my wife, not the Empress of the galaxy" A beat "maybe MY Galaxy."

And then he says "Oh.. his name meant 'echoing mountains' or something like that.. so Echo. Sides, Blaze was too on the nose"

There are sounds of food preparation from the door to the kitchen.

Signe explores the area, not too far, still in eye sight, but she wants ot know where she is . How to help. She's a thinker
