The door is open due to the warm weather, and Kerri catches sight of the pup's shadow in the doorway. "Hello? What brings you here?"

Signe evalutates Kerri, this is a person she doesn't know, she sniffs, then looks back in the Chieftain's direction

"Hearth, we have new arrivals. Come join us. Signe, come," she pats her leg to call the pup.

Signe immediately heels

Kerri steps out, wiping her hands on a dishtowel. "Hello, Dame Gladiola. So, these are the new additions to the Lodge?"

"Yes," says Brekke. "This is Signe, and I think Olgar has told you of Echo?"

"I've heard a bit," Kerri grins.

And Olgar calls out "Echo's here"

Echo immediately moves up to sit before Kerri, ready for orders, ma'am

Gwen salutes troll wise "Hearth. My ... mom knew i was coming here. You know what that means" Resigned as she gets the food basket

"Hello, Echo. And welcome." Then Gwen speaks, and, "Oh, Marigold," Kerri says with an ironic tone of resignation even as she smiles and accepts the basket. "Let me put this down...and you know you do not escape without giving me a chance to reciprocate."

"I am resigned," The girl says stoicly "Do you require assitance beyond me carrying it back, Dame?"

Echo wags furiously. he's hooooome

Signe looks about even as she stays by Brekke's side. She wags tentatively. She likes the area. She likes the feel of it. She looks to her father. Oak wags reassuringly as if to say yes, it's that good here. It's worthy of our protection

"You may help advise me on what would be best to send, if you wish. If you do not mind, Chieftain?"

Brekke nods. "By all means."

She then reaches down to pet Oak. "Good job. You should show the young ones the boundaries here."

Brekke gets a troll salute and Gladiola follows the Hearth

Oak enjoys the petting. His daughter looks hopeful she too will get pets, but has she earned it? Shes' not even scared off a burgular

Oh, she definitely gets a pet, and even an ear rumple.

She gives a canine sigh of happiness. this IS a new place to her but the warm greeting makes it easier.Besides, she's sworn to Brekke as much as a dog can be.

Within the kitchen, Kerri unpacks the basket sent from Silverwolf.

Silverwolf has sent some lovely pastries with wonderful home made cream filling, a mix of chocolates.

Brekke looks to Olgar. "You will be taking her on the trods?"

"Echo's a him," he says "He's with the Rovers and.. oh, you mean Signe?"

Kerri says, "Oh, my. She does do good work. Let's see...." She checks through the larder. "Cookies, some brownies, and I think have a few fruit tarts that didn't get grabbed up....Oh! I almost forgot to ask, how's Marigold's health?"

"Ah, of course he is. My apologies, Echo." Regarding Signe, she shakes her head. "I think she will patrol here, mostly."

at the word patrol, both dogs straight and look ready

"Oh great, work ahollics" Olgar mmmphs

"Not yet, young ones."

Gladiola answers "She seems good, Hearth. though I have thought of asking for a bit of spring magic from Sylvi again"

Signe relaxes. She keeps looking towards the horse stables directions. She knows horses, but these are different and she must know them to protect them

"I imagine she'd be happy to oblige. You might have to wait a bit, if it's not urgent? Prom season, graduation, and so on...."

"Oh I know, it's crazy at our school too" Gwen slips, forgetting she's here as a Kennelmaster an dknight, not a teenage girl

Brekke catches the look from Signe. "Come, let us meet the other four-leggeds. Olgar, shall I bring Echo, too? Or will you introduce him later?"

"I'll show him later" Olgar says "You two go ahead"

Kerri grins at Gwen. "Are you graduating this year?"

"Oak, Signe..." she heads off to the stables, assuming both with follow.

Gwen says "Oh no, no. ' A blush

Signe heels and then... pulls a head just a bit. Not disobeying, but ready to defend Brekke in case the horses here are aggressive

Oak follows, watching waht Signe does

Gwen continues "I do hope to go to the end of the year Dance, but there's so much to do with the Dogs and other matters with the fledges. And, of course, Mom may need help" A troll wilder, she puts her duties first

"If the baron permits you to go, then you also have a duty to your friends, don't you?" Kerri asks as she fills the basket for its return trip.

Brekke is also interested in how Signe will interact with the family of horses, especially Spark.

"My friends are my charges, Hearth." Gwen says

Stormwake sees the new dog, and gives a snort, towering over the canine

Signe doesn't blink, merely getting his scent

If Stormwake was hoping to 'flap her' , it didn't work

Kerri nods. "At a school dance here, there was...well...an unexpected problem. It was very good that Dagmar and Sylvi were both there to help."

"Oh?" Gwen asks
