"Why did she do that? Assign a quest, but an option not to take it?"

"And why can't you go home?"

"Mm." A nod. "I must go there as well. Recent events have taken priority." A frown. "Still, I should not put off the trip much longer."

"Puppies, I'm told" Buck nods annd takes his drinnk and tries some of the snacks

"I must schedule that with Chieftain Clem. She is to have the first pick, and Rivervale the third."

"Oh, mmm" he nods brow knit "So she'd be getting a puppy anyway? How interestingg"

"Yes. And she knows it, so again not matching your quest."

"Mmm darn. "

"...unless I am misinterpreting," she allows.

"Maybe they need a hawk or a horse?"

"Well, tthe puppy in the omen was carrrying an olive branch"

"...An alliance?"

A brow. "Between Silverwolf and the Farm? Possible...." But she sounds dubious.

"A good question for the Mountain." Frank suggests, his eyes closed and head against the chair leg.

Buck looks at each of them "I feel like I've become a hassle"

"Mm," she nods agreement to Frank. "Mountain Vali would likely have further insight." Then she takes a sip of coffee, and shakes her head at Buck's comment. "You have not."

"Heh" he chuckles at Dagmar "It's a good kind of time spending" And a look a the Chief "Chief? I.. ah hell, I have a question but it's kind of..personal. May I try, annd if I overstep, you tell me so?"

Frank lifts his head, opening his eyes to look at Buck.

"I am gonna get those snacks!" To the kitchen!

He smiles as Dagmar shoos off "Kid's got survival sense" Then he says "It would except you husband is here so it's ..kinnd of pertaining to both of you but most especially you, Chief. "
