"To begin is the most important part of a quest." Frank murmurs quietly, and passes a hand over the strewn seeds and pulp.

Some people read tea leaves.... some people look for the future in seeds.

Frank sees a puppy carrying an olive branch, tossing it up and down

"Mmm..." Frank settles down on his haunches, watching what he sees, encouraging it.

it shifts again, and he sees two rings fusing

And then, lastly, Frank sees ...ragweed?

The image breaks apart.. the cantrip done

Frank stands and tells Buck what he saw.

Buck's brows knit "Huh... mmm the second is.. promising but might be presumptive. Not surre what the deal with the puppy with the stick is... and Ragweed has lost me"

"Puppy? Could be the new dogs at Silver Wolf."

"They're from Farm lines."

"Silvewolf? Where's that?" He looks intrigued

"Carthage, New York. Ailil."

"Ailil? Ooof... well, a Man's gotta do what a man's gotta do."

Frank nods agreement.

"Tell me more about the puppies, please?" He looks at Dagmar

Frank looks around to see if Oak is present.

Oak is, and approaches

"Hey, Oak" Buck remembers him.

Oak wags

Frank gives his buddy good ear scritches.

OH BIG wags

"Heh."

"We haven't visited the puppies yet. Brekke's going to make first official contact."

"Oak's the sire. They have these great giant bear dogs up there, and the DeBuke's are due a pick from the litter between them."

And leaning his head into Frank's hand

"Oh.. mm can't be that then, the DeBukes knnow about it... or maybe it is, but therre's something more"

"Maybe... maybe, like, maybe there's a different kind of dog, or hawk, or horse there that they need but don't know it?"

"Maybe.. mmm" he nods to Dagmar thenn a look to Frank "I'm not of your lodge, so I'd be allowed to visit. Ask for 3 days at this Silverwolf place?"

"Baron Aiden is unseelie, but respects the escheat."

"There's a centaur there, too. Childling."

"Three days is the standard."

Footsteps on the gravel outside, familiar ones to most of those present.

"Oh, hey always good to see another four legger.." A look to Oak "well, centaur"

Frank stands. "Excuse me. Oak, want to get that stuff on the floor?"

He goes to the door.

Oak barks a yes, and getts to work

Brekke opens the front door just as Frank reaches it. "Ah." A pleased look.

"Welcome home." he rumbles, moving so she can come in.

"Thank you." She looks around as she removes her cloak, a nod to all those present.

Frank will take it, if she allows, and hang it up so she can go on and get warm.

The Big Centaur grins "Hey, Chief. Pardon my visit"

She does, indeed, allow Frank to do so, though she does not seem particularly chilled. "No pardon needed, Buck. You are welcome. All is well?"

"How is Emmit?" she adds.

"Feeling confined... but he's fine." He says "I'm on a quest myself, but I saw him before I left."

"Mm? Quest?" She settles into her chair by the balefire.

Frank brings Brekke a coffee. "Buck? Something to eat or drink?"

"Thanks Frank, a coffee will be fine" He then nods to Brekke "3 part quest. The first part is 'find something that helps the farm that no DeBuke would think to get but none can argue we need.'"

Frank gets the centaur a coffee as well and says "Dagmar, you know where everything is, right? You're family."

Brekke takes the coffee appreciatively. A sip, and a furrowed brow. "Difficult. Debukes are practical, have a fine sense of what they need, usually."
