"Hey?" The Knight takes off their helm, and suddenly, it's just Dagmar.

"Oh, hey. Yeah, Sained! Congrats!"

"Dagmar? Hey, thanks. Look at you, I swear you've gained another inch at least since I saw you. How goes?"

"Mmph. Well, you know about the Saining and Emmitt."

"We've been on guard - bet the Farm has, too."

"Yeah, I just came from the farm.. folks are tense" Buck admits "Some people flat out angry. Oddly, Emmit himself is taking it in good stride. Oh that's right.. they're saying you helped catch the assassin goblin lady"

He miimes throwing a frisbee

A touch of purple. "Uh. Yeah. Yeet." Sheepish smile.

"I throw discus for track... so..."

"Mighty yeet there" a grin "wouldn't want the Mountain hurt for the world, but that throw? Wish I had seen that. " Then realizing something "Ah, but my brain. You seen either Frank or Vali around? I need advice about quests"

"Mm..." (Has she?)

"Vali was off doing Dad stuff... uh, Frank may or may not be in. I just go tback from patrol."

"Oh rigght, Vali's a dad. I need to congratulate.. and Frannk I .." A look to see "Oh.. he's a his desk. Hey there, sir."

"Huh. There you go." Dag works on stripping off her armor. Clink-clank.

"Thanks, Dagmar" Buck nods

Frank looks up as they enter, and nods. "Welcome."

"Dagmar, need a hand with that?" he offers politely.

"You mind getting those back-y-shoulder-y ones?"

"Not at all." Frank stands and goes over, expertly helping Dagmar out of her gear.

"Either of you know much about..quests? I'm assuming one is allowed to ask for advice for them"

"Oh, yeah, sure!"

"Mmm." Frank considers the question as he asks one of his own "Save these for Connor to work on cleaning up?" he asks Dagmar.

"Great! I'm kind of on a three fold quest.. one part is finding something that the farm needs but doesn't know it needs. A kind of gift"

Dag nods.

"Maybe an omen could help guide you?"

"Maybe... but I can't go back to the farm until I get this done," a stubborn look "So I cann't ask Emmit for an Omen. Besides, it might defeat the 'even they don't know about it' bit"

"What? The hell?"

"I thought they liked you there."

Frank has been stacking up armor.

He turns with a puzzled frown. "How did you come to be on this quest?"

"I.. kind of did it to myself" Sheepish "Put my hoof in my mouth. And they do like me. I just..well, it's not all my story to tell"

"...So, if not-Emmitt did an omen, the DeBukes wouldn't know."

"Vali ain't a DeBuke. Frank, do you soothsay?"

"Symon doesn't, even though he's a sluagh."

"Oh well, just because you're of a kitth doesn't mean you have to"

"I can Omen." he admits.

Dagmar might realize Frank doesn't really talk about magic or what he can do.

"No, just... Sy likes to know stuff. Right?"

"I'm not great at magic."

"Well, if you'd give it a chance on me, Frrank I'd be grateful"

Frank is thinking about it.

"Will you tell me of this quest?" he rumbles.

"Mmm well, like I said... I need to find something and bring it back that will help the farm but they didn't know they needed it"

"Hm." Frank nods. "I can try."

"Thannks. THere's more to it, but some details not mine to tell"

Frank nods understanding, and gestures to a bowl of apples on the table. "Take one, and bite it in half. Then spit the seeds to the floor, and throw the fruit after them."

He breaks into a laugh "Okay. I guess an apple works for a kith tha's half horse" And he takes one, bites it in half, spits the seed to the floor, and throws the fruit after them.
