"I would not object to a PBJ " he answers

"on it" Siv knows what her dad likes, and the kitchen door closed, she gets to work.

Vali takes a sip of his own drink and mutters "I get the feeling she doesn't approve of my choices"

A shrug. "Not everyone will."

"No, but I dont' want folks thinking I'm not open to their views" he explains

"And you can listen to everyone, weigh the opinions, add in your own expertise, and make your decision. Not everyone will approve of your choices, regardless."

"Mmph true words" He admits "Fair enough. Thank you"

Siv comes in with their food "Sandwiches done"

"Thank you, Siv." Frank helps her bring things in, as Vali keeps an eye on Theon.

Indeed, Vali is riveted as his son gets his tummy time work out

"Not a problem, da," Siv eats her own

"Vali, we'll save this till you're ready to hand off."

"Huh?" He looks up "Oh, " He takes a bite of his sandwich "Thank's siv. Uhm.. save what?" Having taking a bit of the sandwich they might have meant to save

"Nevermind." Frank says easily, and eats.

Vali munches hastily, wipes his hand, and then, picks his son up "I'm not sure I thanked you guys for finding the Fir Bholg. THanks. I'm going to take Theon back home , but if there's more mountain business late me know"

"Mountain business is what you say it is, Mountain." Frank says with amusement "And, you're welcome."

"Somehow I think if I try to try to enforce taco tuesdays as an ancient troll tradition, I'll get looked at for abuse of power, but thanks" And he heads out, bouncing his baby boy again

Frank finishes his sandwich and cider. "Siv, you interested in reading some more?"

"Sure" she says "After I wipe my hands.." A look down at Oak, "Think it would be okay if I let Oak have the left over crust?"

Oh HOPEFUL eyes

"Mm. Not if your mother, who is not here, catches you."

"RIght" She smiles.. "Oops" A crust falls. Oak snaps it up before it hits the ground and wags. Clearly he is happy to help keep the place tidy

"Mmphm."

"See how good he is? Stopping my accident from making a mess?" A scratch of the dog's ears

"I will vouch for the fact it was not -his- fault."

"Thank you, Da" She smiles, that appears to be good enough

She puts plates away, the ones that need putting away, then comes out with clean and dry hands to read a book

Frank has cleaned his as well, and welcomes her to settle down with him again. "Kassidey ok?"

"As a matter of fact, she's doing quite well. The talk of the Fir Bholgs in the area made me nervous. so I asked Gerd to flicker flash her and some of the other kids on a field trip so to speak. They should be back in a few hours"

Frank nods, and soon the two are reading.
