Siv isn't used to binge rreading and rubs at her eyes

Frank wears glasses.

"Dad? You never mentioned these adventures on the road" Siv looks up "And.. a lot of interesting people"

"Mmm." He nods. "It was a long time ago."

"Well, yes. I do like how much you focus on the mortals you met. Do you know what happened to that old Veteren who helped you in the bar fight?"

"Last I heard he was in a hospice for end-of-life care. That was.... 10 years ago? I lost track of a lot of people when I was... gone."

"oh. I'm sorry, da. "

"I am too." he turns a page.

Mountain Vali comes in, "I need a volunteer to check on something."

Frank glances at Siv and Kassedy.

Siv perks up.

"There's a sighting ," Vali says "of a Fir Bholg. One of the Dark Kin"

Frank carefully marks his place and sets his book aside, standing.

"I'll get my sword." as he turns to head upstairs.

Siv rises "Kassedy, stay here" She has her blade with her

"I can get it, Siv." Frank says.

"You sure, dad?" Siv says " I mean, a Firr Bholg"

She gets an eyebrow. "Yes."

"Alleged. The witness could have gotten it wrong" Vali says "I need eyes on the ground while i cost omens." A thought "Frank's got more experiece, Siv. Than both of us. He'll do fine. "

Frank goes up to get his blade and returns to put on boots and take his tire tapper as well.

"Back soon. Where was it seen?"

"Frank," Vali says "You know the basics. They're chaos bringers, the world shifts around them, at least the near drreamin part. While they fought for the Fomorians ,we for the Tuatha... some do not hold old loyalties. Romana the boggan saw it, or thought she did. .. near the Northern side, at the River ..."

He nods, and heads out.

Siv mmms and looks tempted o protest, thenn looks to her squire

Then she sighs "Kassedy, let's alk about the Fomorians and their slaves"

While Frank hits Bergan
