Only later does Brekke realize that she and Siv were so distracted about the implications of the collar that she overlooked Siv's comment that there was also a book among the items obtained. She picks it up and gives it a good look.

The title reads Sealed with a Signature

It has no author listed on the cover, it seems sturdy enough as books go. Smells old but well kept.

"Hm." Her brow furrows, and she turns the book to look at all sides before opening it.

Hard back, green cover.

When she opens it...

well, nothing bad happens.

But a spidery script begins in chimerical ink

She frowns, reading...and perhaps a bit skeptical. Her arts she did not learn by book. But still...this is interesting.

Whose was this, and how did they use the art? she wonders.

As a troll, the notion of oaths gaining further power and scope intrigues her.

It is writtten in a genteel instructor way.

She has heard of this art, like Spring it was lost for a time

Yes...definitely intriguing. She is tempted to sit and begin to read it through...but perhaps in a bit. There are treasures that must be returned to their owners. She carefully sets the book in among others on a bookshelf.

Then she takes up the blade and the medallion, and goes out in search of Tiara and Buck.

She finds Tiara practicing with a lance!

A blunted one, of course

She watches from the side for the moment, assessing the warrior's progress with the new weapon.

Not as skilled as she is with a sword, but far further along than a fledging should be. Wehter knight or thane, any hold will be well served by her

She misses a square on hit, but hits still, a clipping blow of immense power

And, of course, it nearly smacks her in the back of the head for her less than perfect accuracy

Brekke does not look even a bit amused by the smack Tiara receives; it is merely part of the learning process.

"Tiara. Hold a moment."

She rubs "Damn.. Ah yes, Baroness? " A beat "I mean Chieftain. Sorry, not sure why I do that"

She shakes her head. "It is no matter." Approaching, she offers out the sword, respectfully. "This has been recovered and returned."

She drops the lance in her hands and almosst CHARGES the troll, just so excited! "You found it , you found it!" She takes it up and draws it from it's scabbard. Something almost muscial about the sound in doing so

"Not I. Others. But yes, it has been retrieved." She watches carefully as the centaur unsheathes her treasure, appreciating the song of blade being revealed.

As the blade sings, Tiara's voile begins to shift and enhance. She's been given this outfit, of course, but it is clear the sword has triggered something

A narrowed look, impressed by the swirl of glamour, but wary of possible sudden violence.

Knight spurs do not fit on centaur hooves, and yet the signs are there of her rank. She was appointed in a past life.

A grin finally, and a respectful nod. "Lady Tiara."

"Yes, I am.. was, a knight. I shall be again when resained"

"Yes. Do you recall your liege? Or if you had none?"

"I had one... but I do not recall details"

She nods. "It will likely return to you when sained. Now...two weapons with which to practice." She nods to the lance that had been so unceremoniously discarded.

The centauress turns, and only then does Brekke nnotice. While the sash is blue, it is a golden falcon upon it! She is affilated with the House of HIgh Summer

"Oh I apologize, Chiefain" And she blushes to gather up the fallen lance

"Ah. Note your sash, Tiara."

She looks down "I'm Gwydion? " A pause, "Ah, not entire but I serve the house. I served a Gwydion" A grin "Would that make me a House Sister to you? Albeit of a minor line or redheaded step child? Or maybe just house cousins?"

"Perhaps cousin is the best comparison, I think. Ally, at the very least. Interesting."

"We shall learn more," she says again. "In time. Now, please excuse me. I must locate Buck."

"Chieftain, wait, if our items were found but not by you, who should I thank?"

"That would be Lady Captain Siv and her companion Piper. I believe you have met them both?"

"I have, thank you" She ggrins "I'll thank them as soon as I see them anew." She bows even more easily than before

Brekke responds with a formal bow of her own, and then leaves Tiara to reacquaint herself with her weapon.

Speaker seems to send a sense of warmth in its quiet way that Brekke can sense. Wordless, but a sense not far off from sentimentality. Weapon and Warrior together againn

A slight huff of amusement, and she nods agreement, patting the blade of her weapon.

And then off in search of Buck.

Buck is in the garden... and ironically, pulling a plow!
