"I think it's so cool you have Arcadian memories!"

"Have you met a sidhe yet?"

"Sir Carowyn, He seems pretty cool" Tiara admits "What's this quest about?"

Kerri gives Tiara a considering look. "Can you describe the sidhe in your memory?"

Although she seems happy to wait and hear the description of the quest first.

"They wanna pull an Eowyn - there's this chimera-spirit-thing, and it has a treasure they want. But it has a set of tasks, and one is all "No Shifter May Pass," but seem I'm not a werewolf."

"Plus, it'll help Lupe look cool and well-connected to her friends."

"Ahh. So you get to be the key. Watch out...that might mean that you get to be the prey, once you're through the door."

"Well, maybe. But I'm good in a fight, and Lupe'll have my back. She looks scrawny now..."

"What is she when it's NOT now " Tiara says, and a blush at Kerri "I don't remember much"

A nod at Tiara's explanation, and a glance at Dagmar. "I think it's best to say that underestimating Lupe is a serious error. Also: don't make her mad."

"Yeah. Puts a Gwydion to shame."

"Well, one must never shame a gwydion" She says as if that's just logical

"I served sidhe back in Arcadia - I was a knight even then. Didn't become a Gwydion until way later."

She nods. "Gwydions are proud, and take their honor very seriously. And have a temper."

"That sounds like you already knew that, Tiara."

Tiara smiles at that, lovely young woman, "I did didn't I? It's so frustrating I'm trying NOT to complain about it"

"Oh, I suspect you're going to have fascinating stories to share when you're sained. But let's get you settled in this new life first before mixing in the old."

"Oh, by the way, have you been able to reach your parents yet?"

"We're going to have to look through the spoils - I heard somebody saying you chrysalized with a weapon?"

"I did!" She explains "They believe I'm with a park ranger who helped uncover my kidnapping and desertion. It was the best story I could come up with..."

"Ain't right, being deprived of your blade."

"I really would like it back"

"Mmm. We'll have to come up with something for longer explanation. Where do they live?"

"And what kind of weapon, do you know?"

"A sword, I remember a sword" She focuses on that first "It had a cross hilt of golden hue, but the steel had a blue edge, and when I whirled it about it sung a merry dirge to my foe"

Kerri nods slowly. "I will remember to listen for word of it."

"Gold and blue..."

"And where they live depends on the season" Tiara adds

"Where they live?"

"Oh, your parents...you mean, they travel."

"Yes, Martha's vinyard, the Keyes, of course, Northern California... right now they're touring Europe"

"Ahh." A nod. "So we have some time. Good."

"Maybe you'd be a good fit at a fancy hold, like Hemlock's..."

"Maybe, I think Siv mentioned Earth Runes but I don't know" She ponders "I... I was thinking of using my money, well my parents money, to help the others if it's called for. Those with advantage must help those without, or they're not .. or it's wrong"

"Oh, totally. Yeah, I bet you're a Lady, at least."

A blush "Oh I meant with money.. I... "A thought "Is it wrong to hope I am?"

"No shame in it. It's rare with most kiths, but not unheard of."

Kerri grins. "I hope you'll forgive my bias when I say that I thoroughly approve of your altruism. And I agree with Dagmar...it seems likely to me that you're already titled."

A curious look. "What are your thoughts on mortals?"

"I thought I was one? " Tiara answers with confusionn "Just infused with a fae soul, hence changeling?"

"Well...fair. But that fae soul will return again and again. Thus, not quite mortal."

"Oh well, I guess it depends on the mortals. Some are jerks? Some are great, but I will try to help either if they're in trouble. It's not about who's deserving, it's about who I am choosing to be"

"Some are totally jerks."

Oh, that definitely gets the Kerri grin of approval.

Tiara beams, she's beautiful, not sidhe beautiful, but one can see her at court easily

"Well, we'll explore that notion more."

"Now...Dagmar...when do you leave on this trip, and what would you like to take with you?"

"Within the week. I was wondering if I could take a just-in-case cookie?"

"They DO have healing magics, but I don't know if they all do, or if I can depend on that..."
