Brekke's questioning into who had what finds it's most ardent interest in Tiara, "It was a gold cross hilted blade with a blue steel sword. Felt like part of me. I mean, I love the weapon practice, Dame Dagmar's very happy to help teach, but I .. ever have a weapon that felt like it was part of you on some spiritual level?"

Brekke grins slightly and nods. "I understand. Hm...I have not heard word of this blade yet, but I will endeavor to locate it. I hope we can help you be reunited with it."

"Much obliged, " Tiara smiles, "Funny, I looked online, most Centaurs have bows or spears. Though I am learning Lance from Dagmar"

"She is a fine teacher. Yes, I think long weapons would be more common...distance to keep your front quarter from harm."

"Perhaps, but my hand aches for my sword" She confesses.

"Mm." A nod. "The colors are interesting. They are not familiar to any house I know. Do you think they are merely of personal preference?"

"Well, the steel has a blue tinge more than obviously vibrant blue, but..." She ponders "I don't think know if they had anything to do with the houses or not. "

"Ah, I understand better." A nod.

"Sorry, I ramble. " Tiara does ask "Baroness? I'm told there is some dicussion on who will go where for us? Fawn talked to us, and we all agreed, and I only say this as I'm first in the line and it migghtt as well be me that tells you, we know enouggh that your barony can only support so many kithain. We understand we're going to be split back up. And, we are fine with that. You and yours saved us. We owe you"

Brekke seems to wrestle with what she'll say next. "Rivervale was not alone in your rescue. Other baronies were part of the effort. But yes, we may call upon you for aid in the future, I hope not before all of you are sained." Again a pause. "Tiara, do you know from the group what the preference would be? Would you choose to stay together if possible?"

"Mountain Frank has explained enough about balefire and limits for us to know that if the herd ALL Stay here, we keep others from here. So we figure a few will go elsewhere. We're fine with being split up" She smiles "And to clarify, that that means is while we've got a trauma shared, and that creates a bond, we're not a friend or a herd or anything. "

A nod. She still looks like she's considering something. "That is good to know. You do not feel a need to stay together. That helps with some decisions. Well...perhaps I should learn what each is drawn to, the type of place each would like to live."

"Sounds great. I think I would be comfortable here in Bergen at least. " Amused "Less distance to travel for Joust Club."

A slight sound, almost a chuckle. "I should present you at Count Hemlock's court...but I think it best if we wait until all are settled, first."

"Definiely" She doesn't so much rise as back up a bit , "I'll send in the next one shall I?"

"Please, yes. And thank you."

"My pleasure" She bows from the waist, and trots back

Brekke watches the odd gesture which Tiara makes look graceful.

And she makes sure to jot down a few notes before the next one arrives.

Like day and night... the next up is Daria, Unseelie, clearly a savage in temperament, but not obnoxiously so. She's a scrapper , and her amnesia of her mortal life is troublesome

"You wanted to ask us stuff?" She asks

"Yes. First, I need to know if you had any item with you that appeared at your chrysalis, but may have been taken by your captors."

She gets straight to the point.

"No, but I.. " A frown "I remember .. no, wasn't a thing"

Brekke remains silent, inviting her to continue with a small nod.

"There was an animal with me when I.. when I arrived. They captured me I think but it ggot away.. I hope it's okay"

"A chimera? Can you describe it?"

"Yeah" She grins "It was a two headed badger with kind of blood covered stripes. HIM I remember. He didn't like anyone or anything" Fond "I called him Cuddles"

All true!

"Mm. Daria, where were you when you were separated from him?"

"I think I was... it was .." she focuses "there were lakes.. not here... I " A shake of her head "No that makes no sense. THIS is Brekke's, not there"

A furrowed brow. "Whether or not it makes sense, tell me. It may make more sense than you know."

"I remember YOUR name.. a sign.. I wasn't there but I was near there? " A surprised look "most I remember"

"My name." She blinks, clearly confused. "Well...I will see what I can discover. And hopefully your chimera is still near there."

"I hope so, Cuddles seemed tough" Approval "What else did you want to ask me?"

"Yes, I have another question. What sort of place would you prefer to live? I am seeking ideas on where you may be best supported."

"Long as I've got food and am allowed to defend myself I'm good. I want to learn how to fight so I can disembowel any future enslaver tthat tries for me" BLUNT then she ponders "No place too urban"

"Mm." A nod. "For a moment I was considering a hold in Tijuana, but...urban. However, there are certainly options. Thank you Daria. Do you have any questions for me?"

"Tijuana? " Amused "Huh.. migh be fun to visit... but yeah, too many people pissingg me off in any language"

"And uhm.. yeah, Dagmar says we all have magic in us, that cantrips tennd to show. Mountain told us about them in the first place. I want to learn how to use weapons, but I also would like to learn how to set people on fire or blast them with lightning. Are there classes?"

A blink. "Not in the sense of school as you know. It is more like tutoring." She considers. "Have you met Zane yet?"

"Cute guy, goat legs? Yeah" She nods "But he was busy searching for magic and lore? "

"Mm. But I think he would be a good teacher, if available, at least to give you the basics. Power such as you describe...well...that can take a great deal of time to learn."

"Damn it" She curses "Why is evey form of ass kicking requiring patience? that's like my least favorite virtue"

Brekke nods, and restrains a grin. "You are not the first newly-chrysalized fae to say this."

"mmph" She sighs "No other questions then." She turns to leave then looks over her shoulder "You've beenn decent, and you're lookinng for Cuddles. Thanks. I'll kick the next one in here"

A nod in reply, and a note jotted down after she goes.

Fawn comes, the grump is wearing a new sweater of green, in voile it tranlates to spring leaf designs "I guess I'm up next Chieftain. If the timinng is okay?"

"By all means, Fawn, please. All is well?"

There is the sound of bootsteps on gravel outside.
