Brekke looks up at the sound of familiar footsteps approaching. "I hope, Fawn, you do not mind if the Mountain joins us?"

"Oh, compared to being captured by a madman ?? Dandy thank you. Kerri's a gem and Frank's sweet and patient with us. Pardon.. I should say Hearth and Mountain. I'll try to remember. " easy going "I get thoughtful sometimes but keep it from the others. they don't need me wondering why fate or the Dreaming picked an older woman like me for this gift. And it is a gift..." She turns "Oh speak of the fellow, Mountain how are you?"

As Frank enters.

Brekke nods, "I was younger than you but older than most when I chrysalized. You have a story to live."

"I'm well, thank you, Fawn." Frank wipes his hands on a rag and puts it in his pocket. He toes off his boots.

A nod and slight grin to Frank. "Frank, please join us?"

"I do like feeling strongerr and healthier, sometimes I wish it came to me earlier, but if wishes were fishes annd all that" She ponders, "Then again in the Dreaming that might be a way to put cannned tuna in the larder at least"

That gets a definite amused look. "Fawn, I have been asking a few questions of the centaurs. I think they may help us to help you."

"I was wondering if you had any item with you when you chrysalized, something that may have been taken or lost when you were captured."

"Ah, " She blushes bright "Well, I did .. have do.. have it oh my"

A blink. "Ah. Is it...would you prefer to write it down?" She turns a page of her note pad and offers it and the pen to Fawn.

"No no . I mean, it's in my possession. I kept the hunters from stealing them. " She reaches into a purse "I've since cleaned them numerous times. it's the way I .hid them that's embarrasing" She has pulled out two pennnies. The treasures are clearly a set. Because to fae eyes, Lincoln looks like a sluagh with a beard

"Ah." Brekke nods, and asks no further about how they were hidden. "I asked because I wish to make sure that any items belonging to the captives and found among the hunters or Leech's goods should be returned. Please, you may keep these. Have you determined what they are for?"

"If you're sure someonen else doesn't need them more? I thought about surrenndering them in trade to help the others" A whisper "Not that i'd let any of the younger crowd know about it .So proud. As for what they do? I haven't the foggiest. I just know they belong together and that Abe looks a bit malnourished"

"He resembles a sluagh. May I?" She reaches out an open hand.

"Please" She hands them over'

they are treasures, both Frank and Brekke can sense that. And they're meant to bea set

Frank has settled with them after getting a glass of cider (and supplying the ladies with what they wish) and looks at the pennies.

Brekke takes them and turns them in her hand for a moment, and thanks Frank for the coffee...then she rubs the two coins together between her fingers, building glamour.

"Thank you, Mountain" Fawn says kindly, as she is handed a cup of coffee and savors a sip

And Brekke feels her cantrip shimmer like a low tolling bell in the moonlight, and the cantrip is done and ready for questions

"Hm," she murmurs. pleased by the effect of the cantrip, and then she murmurs. "What is the nature of your power, treasure?"

The coins actually hiss in unison, but not angrily, justt the 'sluagh' figureheads speaking visibly "the same nature as your cantrip, save for the target, but we are generous when used right. Oh yes"

"And how is your power activated?"

"Upon the eyes of those who no longer see are we placed and the corpse is ready to ggive up the secrets it gathered in life"

Frank blinks in surprise.

Fawn's brrows shoot up "Well, that's morbid"

Brekke's eyes widen. "Yes," she says to Fawn. "But very useful."

A glance at Fawn. "You may tell me what you would like to ask them," she says, carefully framing the statement to avoid a question.

"Do they rightly belong to me?" She says

A nod, and she asks the coins, "Do you rightly belong to this centaur who held you before I did?"

"We were gifted to her in a past life, though we wore different forms then." they answer "we are hers to give, hers to trade, hers to use... just please don't swallow us again. That's not the sort of passing we're supposed to deal with"

Fawn mmph "Cheeky little treasures"

"Mm." Brekke nods and returns them to Fawn. "Cheeky, but useful."

"Thank you." Fawn tucks them away "Now, Speaking of useful. Where or how can I be useful to the two of you or others?" A smile "I've helped cook a little, but frankly having tasted the food around here that's rather redundant of me"

"Well, my first thought is that, as the other centaurs seem to look to you with respect, you may do well to help organize them. Beyond that...what skills would you be able to offer?"

"Well, I did some work as a nurse for a time. "

Frank glances at Brekke.

"Meaning I can adminniser shots, change sheets, fight the urge to roll my eyes at melodramatic patients and narcistic doctors," A smile

She returns Frank's glance and nods. "Fawn, this is, of course, very useful. However, there are not many wounded here at the moment. I wonder...would you be able to give some lessons in basic first aid? I have done so in the past, but I would appreciate you taking the burden for the moment, if you would be willing."

"Delighted, I've taught CPR courses before at the Y" Fawn answers "I think everyone should learn some first aid. "

"Ah, I also teach at the Y," Brekke says with the pleasure of recognition. "May I ask where?"

"Near Bethsada, Maryland? At least formerly, by now I've lost my house" dryly

"Maryland...." A glance to Frank.

A soft grunt, acknowledging.

"Something bad about Maryland?" She says "I mean, I've traveled a lot all my life. I know Spanish because of my time in Honduras"

"Not so much wrong," Brekke says. "I am...familiar with the Countess of that region."

"Is she nice?" A brow

Then an interested look. "Honduras? I see. What about Mexico?"

Then a more carefully neutral expression at the question. "She...has a deep care for her land and people." It sounds like an effort at a compliment.
