The Beltaine decor is rich and thriving! Flowers from the gardens have burst forth in such abundance they could afford to give freely for interior works as well as the gardens that Brekke and Jack Flap are so proud of. The sun shines bright but a breeze sets trees and ribbons alike to a light sway and keeps any heat off from excess at least! Someone has, by hook, crook, or magic, gathered over a hundred chimerical butterflies and got them to linger about!

Kerri has enlisted the Beltane-spirited childlings into adding ribbons and bows wherever they see an opportunity. Which might include each other, and almost certainly Mountain Frank.

Mountain Frank might be just the slightest bit sheepish.

"He Chief?" A tug at his legg

Tables are laden with finger foods and fanciful pastries, and a Very Large Cake with the emblem of Rivervale atop it.

"Yes?" Frank looks down.

Jack looks up at him "Can we have permission to decorate the rig just a bit? We promise we won't get into it or drive away or nothing"

"I'd prefer not. What kind of decorations were you thinking of?"

Kerri listens from nearby as she sets out some plates.

"Strings of flowers mostly" he says "And a ribbon from the antanae"

"He worked really hard on the flowers" Lauge says/ "he did" Lucjan agrees

"And it would be PRETTY" Layne says

Frank exhales.....and nods "Please respect my means of caring for us all. You have permission to ... decorate."

Kerri grins quietly.

"YAY!" The kids go out.. Though Jack yells "You heard the He-Chief.. respect the Vehickle!"

and soon they are tending to it with flower strands and ribbons

The Hearth moves to speak quietly to Frank. "That was good of you. Don't worry. They've learned."

"We'll see." he agrees.

"And I will make sure they clean up afterwards," she assures him. "Have you seen Olgar?"

"No."

Olgar comes in , His blighted features somewhat concealed by the large butterfly (Pink) facepaint

"Wait, no, here he is."

Kerri spots him and cannot hide the loving amusement. "Oh, which childling got you?"

He sighs "Layne. Lily wanted to do a moth"

Kerri goes to him. "It's very...vibrant." And she gives him a kiss on the unpainted cheek, careful not to muss his makeup. She, herself, has had some chimerical butterflies fluttering on her horns.

Siv is dressed in beltaine finery

"I think Sylvi , Nadeen andn Colton are here... Carriage just pulled up!"

Indeed, the pumpkin shaped vehicle lurched to a stop outside, possibly jumbling the occupents

Brekke emerges from the lodge. She wears her formal court garb, the gold trim twinkling in the Beltane sun, but she also has some bits of armor on. Not enough for true combat, but perhaps more symbolic...breastplate and pauldrons only. She carries a large, curled, carved horn in one hand.

And Sylvi hurries to leave the vehicle. "Quick, I think they're starting!"

Colton moves with her, opening the door. "Thanks, Wudlig" And escorting her out.

Frank stands at his place near the 'Fire, and nods to Brekke.

Brekke gives Frank a grin and nod in return, her eyes lingering on him a long moment. Then she looks around to see all who are there.

Nadeen moves out with Wudligg's help. Her dress is... a bit fancy

Sylvi takes Colton's offered arm. She's in her best court garb, wearing symbols of both Darkgate and Rivervale.

Colton is dapper

It actually looks like quite a crowd HAS gathered! It's amazing. So many folks have come to see Dagmar swear.

And a satyr comes out, armor at higgh shine .. Dame D'Lorean

Of course, Connor, Piper and .. Symon are all there.. in the background

But yes, there's Myrtlle Anne and Anne Marie. There's most of the folks from the apartments! Zane has an easy confidence, as does Basil.

Brekke clears her throat to draw the attention of the crowd, and gives them a moment for their voices to settle.

And the voices do... though one can hear a childling's voice pipe up as the wilders shush going "And with more oaths, both will be SO strong they'll knock down walls, you watch... oops"

This elicits some laughter but that is muffled

Brekke grins at that last comment, and as there is quiet, she says clearly, "Welcome, all! And Welcome, Beltane!" Her tone clearly invites cheers from those who will!

And cheers she gets! Siv whoops loudly, as is her want. Other trolls might give a a more dignified hear hear, but the satyr annd pooka crowd are robust in their cheers and boggans won't be ignored. Someone actually left out ear muffs for sluagh that have stag antler or leafy decorations!

When that dies down, Brekke adds, "And today we celebrate even further a great event. Dame Dagmar approaches...welcome her!" And the fact that she lifts that massive horn to her lips should give plenty of warning to those who need to cover their ears. A pause, and she gives a long, steady blast, a summoning call.

In the distance, Tove turns to her daughter "That's our cue..well, your cue" though they plan to escort her

Dagmar, for as amazonian as she is, still manages to look shy. Her hair has been carefully braided into a crown, woven with beads and flowers - likely Tove's work. She wears a white dress with her cuirass and shoulders over top, and Flyswatter (dressed with floral garland) on her back. She rides Star - the dappled mare ALSO beribboned and braided. Spark trots along, and Connor, fresh-scrubbed, manages the colt's lead line. Jaymes, Tove, and CJ complete the procession.

Jaymes almost crackles with fatherly pride.
