Oh, that blush creeps around to the back of her neck.

"Me too."

"I.. I mean.."

"I..."

"I know.." An admission "Jus because we're not.. just because we're just friends now doesn't make old feelings go away"

"...yeah."

Almost relieved to admit it.

"You're going to find someone all your own one day. "

A little shrug. "Maybe. Okay if not, I think."

"Oh no, you'll find someone, or htey'll find you... and I'm gonna be SO fussy because he or she better treat you right or I'll do horrible horrible things to them"

A little chuff of laughter. "Promise?"

"Oh yes" a chuckle "Got your back, my friend" True

"I know you do."

"Good. And yes, I know you've got mine." A lean against her friend's back as the ride to the stables.

Dagmar is quiet - but oh, she smiles.

Nadeen feels almost at peace. Safe

Safe, familiar, comfortable.

When they get back to the Lodge, Dagmar helps Nadeen down from Star's back - her strength handling the sidhe as carefully as blown glass, as a delicate artwork to be treasured.

Nadeen steps off like a queen from her dias

She puts Star to stable - the usual routine. "You need a snack? I might need a snack."

"Wow.. yeah.. is it weird to get hungery in Winter? I mean, I'm not a bear or anything but I really get hungry when I'm out in the cold for any period of time"

"Makes sense - burning calories to keep warm. Come on, I'll make something."

"Sure.." She follows "Those little pigs in blankets only with those touches you do?"

Grin. "I can do that."

Soon enough it is the warmth of the kitchen, and talk about Snow and Brown Dog and Odin, as Dagmar lovingly prepares food for the both of them.

"I could eat a gallon of those" and she follows.. and fusses over the dogs while Dagmar prepares the meal.. and yes, Odin too
