Dagmar reaches down to lift Nadeen into place.

And up Nadeen goes, heavier than connor, but we shall not discuss how much, that would be rude. She is more elegant

And has had some riding lessons, indeed, she's improved

Dagmar is glad Nadeen can't see her face, as a blush rises again... she encourages Star to a brisk walk, heading back to the lodge.

"Oh Star, you're looking great" nadeen says "They've really been tending to your mane and tail "

"Connor is an expert brusher, these days. Just ask the new centaur."

"New Centaur?" Nadeen says "I've.. missed something"

"Fledge! Her name is Layne and..." And so Nadeen catches up with the news.

"Oh my goodness.. I knew tthere were some out there... " she seems excited "This is a real feather in the barony's cap. I wonder who will end up teaching her? "

"Dunno. Olgar started..."

"Chief may have had opinions."

A brow "She's getting lessons from the Rover? He's a fellow unseelie but my word. I can only imagine how that went . He's not who I would put forward for First Contact"

"Well, Gerd and I are helping, too."

"Gard might be a good match, really..."

"Gerd? Mmm she has proven good with kids herself. " A look at Dagmar "You too, of course, but you have a squire. "

"Yeah."

"Truthfully? I'd leave her in car of one of the three.. this is our first Centaur. There's going to be expectations "

"Well... like, she's just a kid. Foal."

"Oh, I mean on how we treat her... " She says "We're going to be .." A wince 'Oh dear lord. The professor"

"Kerri and Chief'll keep him in ccheck."

Star snorts. If someone checks your teeth without permission, you kick them. Perhaps SHE should mentor this Centaur if the girl doesn't know that

"That usually keeps him busy in his study."

"And has the Chieftain popping aspirin"

Star picks up speed despite the weight of two.

"Which, speaking of horses..."

Grunt. "Maybe we could - y'know, those fancy gold horses?"

"that would be wonderful" She says

"I mean, I bet that'd be nice for lots of reasons."

"And to see one of those horses, that would be one of them. "

"Agreed."

"And it might put the Baron in our debt enough for me to make a bold motion to free him"

"Maybe?"

"Sory I'm just.. now I'm trying to think what order to this in. The horses were up first and they might help him"
