"He has to get it out to move on I mean and.." She frowns "I want him to love Connor if he can"

"No. he's an amazing man in many ways"

She sighs "And I must rescue him"

Nadeen looks at her, "Oh Dagmar, anyone can get hurt. It's our... universal characteristic. I know you want to protect me, but... well, sometimes I'm going to have to risk getting in trouble or hurt and you'll have to let me"

"Doing pretty good! Lupe probably better than May - being mortal, covid is just harder to avoid, you know? More locked down, more isolated."

"That can't be good for her dreams" A frown of concern "Any ideas how to help her?"

"Wait for it to warm up so we can meet up more often?"

"Maybe we need to enchant her and whisk her off for 24 hours of fun" Pondering "it's a gamble but..maybe the fun would remain?"

"I wonder how she'd do at Carnival?"

"Wait.. what if.. what if we asked Hemlock to make her the Carnival Queen?"

"Ohhhh...."

"And Hemlock owes Rivervale... is fond of it.. he'd likely be fine with it"

"She would love it there - so many beautiful sidhe?"

"And they'd not dare harm her" She ponders "She's also a kind person. Wouldn't abuse the power"

"She's steward, probably has supplies for it" A wistful sigh "Sometimes one thing I do wish the lodge had more of were galas annd things. And a dress maker. I am sure Kerri can do it, she can do anything, but she's swamped half the time "

"Yeah, not really our thing. And, like, dunno... fancy parties just don't seem to fit here? I look stupid in a dress."

"I think you look fine in a dress, but I also don't want you uncomfortable so if you want to spruce up in other things instead so be it"
