Brown Dog! the non fae hound has some half eatten grass...near his open mouth with is now dripping with salvia ... and he is on his side, gagging and breathing hard alternatively. His eyes look blood shot, and sometimes he spasms

“Brogan!” Symon hisses, calling to the boy, before moving to examine around Brown Dog. He knows he cannot heal, but he looks for signs of what the dog ate, clues, before the trolls rush in. Confident that they can help the dog, but checking for anything before they come muddy the scene.

Dagmar stops in her tracks, looking stricken.

Kerri is out the door, her hands already on the dog as she's down on her knees.

Brogan races forward... and moves to the dog..."Signs in a dog.. signs..."

Symon swipes a finger into the dog’s mouth, checking to make sure it’s not something just being choked on. Risking a finger perhaps, but so it goes.

"..but Brown Dog isn't even Kerri's..."

"Hemlock poisoning.. I think it's hemlock" The boy says

Frank moves out into the yard, looking for the threat that might use this distraction to attack.

He looks again - trying to determine WHAT the dog ate. Surely he wouldn’t just eat a plant?

Bit of pork

But the dog didn't throw it up. Must be a larger piece in him

Brekke gives Brogan a sharp look.

“Pork?” He blinks, then scowls. “Dagmar... I think this was set out for the dogs. Or anyone who likes pork. Doesn’t your squire....” He lets this idea fade.

"But Brown Dog isn't,, he's just a dog. An innocent dog."

"Symon..." Brekke says "You can locate it. You must cut it out of him."

He thinks quickly. “Ipecac.” He demands of Brogan. “You have it?” Naming the common vomit-inducing agent.

Tracing a hand down the dog’s stomach... but best to avoid that if he can.

"Yes I do.. but does he have the strenght left to expel it?" The boy doesn't want for the answer going into the lodge to get it

"He will." Kerri sounds determined as she works to stabilize Brown Dog as much as possible.

Listening to the dog for a moment, then a glance at Dagmar. “I’m going in. Hold him?” And he plunges his hand down the dog’s throat, carefully squirming so it fits and going for the stomach.

Frank paces, patrolling just a bit, in case this IS a distraction.

Siv says comes out with the bag "I run faster tha nbrogan so he sent me" She lays it down

And he glances at Brekke.

Long sender fingers questing for the stomach.

Frank doesn't see anyone! He doesn't see the horses as agitated so whoever did his didn't go by the stables

Kerri is holding Brown Dog securely, and murmuring soothing sounds.

And Symon reaches, wiggles.. and then...even as Kerri holds the dog from spasming too badly.. he finds the chunk of meat inside!

Brekke looks back at Frank, looking grim. "Siv...you and I must go to Caer Falken. Now."

Fingers circle it, and he draws the offending chunk out.

"Yes, Chieftain" She says

“Maybe you can try a heatherbalm now?” He whispers to the Hearth, even as he pokes at the nasty thing, and shows Brogan.

Brogan says "He should live.. but a heather balm is wise"

Symon edges away to give Kerri room to work... and starts drawing in the snow with an ichor smeared finger. Clocks... he is drawing a diagram of overlapping clocks.... working on this even as Kerri casts her own cantrip.

Frank nods; Brekke knows what he was thinking.

Oak is outside moving to his little buddy then he looks to Frank

And a tiny whine escapes the big white dog

Kerri nods, and pulls the dog to its feet, supporting his weight as she helps him move. "Walking, Brown Dog. You can do it. Come with me." This is the bunk...to keep him moving (and his blood pumping better) as she casts the cantrip.

Dag is still, watching it all with a forlorn look.

"Don't let that meat out of your sight." Frank cautions.

Carefully, clock after clock intricately drawn despite the poor medium. Glamour flickers, shadows around him as he pushes his magic into the art built for Sidhe, squirming to fit into the shape and make it work for him.

"Oak, you can help him walk." Frank invites.

Brekke says, "Thank you, Hearth. Symon, Brogan, good work." Another nod to Frank, then to Siv, "Let us go."

The meat is ..not much left of what was in it. But Kerri's walking and cantrip seems to help Brown Dog limp around, still a bit shocky, but he'll do this. He'll do this.. hey you eating that pork?

"Someone find Mackerel please" Siv says, but that's all she says and she follows her mom

"Symon, can you take the meat inside, get it into a container? I'll find him, Siv." Frank promises.

And he goes inside to look in Siv's room for the cat.

Mackerel is in Siv's room, She's climbing on a bookshelf

Dag is still standing out by Symon.

Symon's magic bursts and he sees a vision of... a chunk of meat swatting Brown Dog in the thigh
