The boggan fusses

"Mm-hm." Brekke raps on the table briefly as people start getting battle fever.

Brogan says "intruth, he better hope this Kenna is a warrior. One of the other options is far less pleasant"

But he silences as the chief hits the table

A pause, then to Frank, "Mountain, you were going to say?"

"I agree with Dagmar."

Siv nods quietly agreeing with dad about agreeing with Dagmar

A nod from Brekke. "She has the right to have the option to face him, at least."

"And maybe.. like... since the harm was to her, she has a first claim on revenge?"

Symon catches Brogans comment, and he gives a small, mirthless smile.

"Squire Brogan," she continues, "what is the 'other option' you mentioned?"

"He can't touch Anne Marie unless he deals with this Kenna person."

"Hm..." Kerri makes a thoughtful sound.

"Poisoners" he says with a blush

"And.. Dame Dagmar is right."

"Another angle to consider," Kerri says, "is that if he was treating Kenna in a way that would make her wish revenge on him, then AnneMarie actually did him a favor by taking Kenna away from where she had access to him to take vengeance."

She looks to AnneMarie. "You were saving her, but you were saving him in the process, as well."

Brogan ponders "Ooh.. oh!"

"Oh?" says Brekke.

Symon looks... almost disappointed in this train of thought. This guy threatened his mom- his dad - and him. To let him back out now seems... ugh.

"I.. it's brilliant. He can't lose..well, he CAN.. but he's already taking his vengeance. Not just on the woman who took the child away, but on the wilder that was the child for escaping. IF Kenna IS fond of Anne Marie, then this becomes a slap at her, while also punishing Anne Marie who clearly doesn't like a former charge involved directly >it's actually sneaky in a way. Even if he's bested, he's disrupted a lot of lives"

SCOWL.

"Why can't we just kick his ass again?"

Frank exhales.

Brekke narrows her eyes. She is clearly tempted.

"Mmmph."

"I'm starting to see Dagmar's view as solid. Especially if he's trying to hurt Anne Marie AND play us"

That's Siv's view

Brekke's teeth grind briefly. It's not exactly a subtle sound.

Then a nod. "Fine. We contact Kenna, then we confront him."

Squire Broggan looks nervous but nods. He is still just a childling

She notes the look. "We will need your House knowledge, but you will not be part of that meeting with him."

"I.. I will go where my knight directs" he looks to Kerri then back to the Chief "But, thank you. "

Kerri nods agreement with Brekke.

Symon frowns, a bit fidgety.

Dag scoots closer to the sluagh.

“I’m not sure if I should go to talk to her. I’m not really the encouraging type.” He whispers to Dagmar. “And I’m just so... Seething over this guy thinking he can threaten my family.”

"Damn straight."

At this point, Oak who was enjoying he crowd, tilts his ear

And Brekke hears something odd.. as does Frank and Dagmar.. a Gha sound outside the lodge?

Symon's senses hear better..someone or something is GAGGING

He slides over to the door at his quickest pace and opens it,scanning for the sound.

Brekke frowns...and stands as Symon is already moving.

Or window, whichever is closer....

Kerri asks, "What is it?"

“Someone is... choking?” He hisses, on alert.

Dag takes OFF, Flyswatter in hand, towards the noise!

Kerri is right behind her.

They swing open the door , the front door, and see ....

Frank is moving as well, tapper in hand.
