"Good." Another pet, and she stays by him, a hand resting on his shoulder to reassure as they watch together.

"Clem?" Sylvi asks with worry.

But only Dagmar and Kourtney see

"Hang on, Brekke... still working"

Kerri sets down the bowl and pours water into it from a bottle she'd brought, a glance to Sylvi.

"It's a wing?"

Brekke merely nods, and again pets Stormwake's shoulder. "All will be well," she says quietly to the stallion.

"I think it's..."

Another groan, and Star flexes, giving a push, trying to free the small life from within.

Annd then.. with Clem's help, out comes the newborn, and Clem laughs "Well I've done seen about everything"

Kourtney's gasp can be heard "Can I lower the green?"

"That's my girl, shh, you did so good!"

More fussed with Star than the baby, just yet.

"Yes I think it's fine.." CLem says

And it lowers... and Visible to ALL....New and blinking is winged colt, a bit messy, but ..with tiny wings with slicked feathers

"They're okay, Connor! Did you hear that?"

Sylvi is smiling.

"Oh!" she says, turning the boy. "Look!"

Kourtney wipes and cleans "Oh my.."

"Oh, my..." Kerri says with a grin.

Jack says "Hooves are still a bit clunky" In a whisper so Dagmar doesn't hear

Brekke chuckles slightly. "Well," she mutters to Stormwake, "You have much to be proud of today."

Kerri says, "Clem, we have water here if you need it. I was prepping it in case you needed help with a Well."

Stormwake looks amazed !

Hooves are actually a cthonic nightmare...

A grateful look from Sylvi to her mother.

"You did it, Star! You want to meet your baby?"

"Well, the hooves will actually get harder when.... nevermind" Clem says "And water would be welcome. I'm going to be getting tired in a moment as I get a taste of what Star had... price for everything"

And Clem starts to yawn a bit, as Star wakens

Messy, sticky, and not quite able to stand yet - eyes closed - it looks like under the smears and traces of uck and such... the colt - it is a colt! Is black.. Or white? Maybe grey, it's hard to tell. But there is definitely a mark on his forehead, like Star's star...

Kerri nods and climbs over the fence, and Sylvi passes her the bowl of water to bring to Clem.

And as Kourtney wipes the foal's mouth, there is a tiny sound.. a BLEAT! And he starts to nuzzle forward, catching hold of her fingers.

Clem takes it, and puts it to good use, "Thank you..." A bit blinky "Now, Kourtney, I need you to keep an eye out for waht i may miss. Sure the others will too, but ..."

"Chieftain Clem, since his mother is sleeping, I would like to bring his father forward."

Kourtney laughs "He's raring to give suck"

"Get suck you mean" Clem says "But ... sure"

A nod to Brekke "Thanks, Chieftain Clem"

Star is blinking fuzzily, still awakening from her daze. Folk crowded round may take note of her hooves as she stretches to try to stand.

Star may feel spring magics at work...

Dagmar is there to help!

Soreness is leaving her rapidly. Then again, horses have some advantages over human women

Brekke was about to suggest Dagmar help steady her...then grins as there is no need to tell Dagmar how to help her mare. She leads Stormwake a bit closer to the baby.

"Clem," Kerri says, "There's a cot in the stable. We set it up for Dagmar while she was keeping watch. Why don't you catch a few winks in there?"

Stormwake moves to check on Star first but then, after brushing her once, comfort, affection, then moves to bump noses with the tiny guy

Getting to her feet, she blinks, and zeros in on the foal. Hopefully Dagmar is not offended to be so quickly left aside...

For a moment it looks like Star will lash out at the stallion looming over HER baby - but she is still being touched by the calming and spring magic, and after a moment, she steps closer, and nuzzles them both.

"Shhh..."

Stormwake sniffs the colt and...then signs of equine happiness, every bit of his body that can show it does

Star finishes the first proper bath the foal will get, and nudges him into place... a soft sigh - then a HUFF as he BUTTS her - RUDE! Maybe he takes after mom... and starts to suck - his tiny tail flipping up and down ecstatically.

"Awwww." Sylvi's grinning ear to ear.
