Star nickers to Dagmar, an inviting sound.

It seems that Dagmar is not part of 'the rest of the world', in Star's reckoning.

Dagmar heads over.

"Hey girl..."

Connor hangs back, watching.

Star leans in, and gives the wobbly foal a nudge. He stumbles, almost faceplants, and takes a step towards Dagmar. "See?" The mare seems to say. "We did it."

"Oh!" She extends her hands for inspection. "YOU did it, my strong girl."

STALLION POWAH... Trot Trot nearby

"Oh he's asking for pain" Nadeen mutters

"He's allowed to brag!"

"I'm going to get your camera " Nadeen says

"Ohhhh, good idea!"

Star huffs, and her tail switches. Another nudge and the foal is pushed, lightly, into Dagmar's hands. She leans down and exhales into his nostrils, teaching him her scent, and nuzzles Dagmar as well. This is your herd.

"Oh jeez. Hi there!"

Nadeen gets up and races towards the Barn..err Dag's house

Approaching after Nadeen steps away, though he sticks to the fenceline - the WISE place to stay. A Whisper over to Dagmar. "So this is what has had you busy all week." Symon comments.

"It is. You missed the gross hoof tentacles."

"I've seen it online. And probably worse. Eldritch horror, meet Eldritch Horse."

"Well, I thought you'd be someone to appreciate it."

"What are you going to do with it? Even you can't ride two horses at once."

The little foal is just caught up in all the newness, but yes, the big blue girl can be trusted. But what of stinky hisser? Can stinky hisser be trusted?

"Shhh. Symon is friend." Pet.

"Well, we'll see. Let him grow up a bit."

"Maybe Connor, or maybe to the Farm."

Star snorts. She is not so sure about it, but as long as he stays on his side of the fence, she doesn't fuss.

"You could sell it. When it's old enough. Horses go for a lot of money. Fae horses even more. And I've never even HEARD of a winged one. I mean, outside of just a chimera like that little cat-sized business that Tove fawns over."

"He might not be able to fly. Lucia can't."

"Oh." A disappointed sound. "Well, it - HE's - still cool. Got any names picked out? If you're looking for alliteration, remember that Symon is already taken."

"Sadly."

"We'll figure out his name. Swiftwind or Skystreak or something..."

"Stubtail. Squeaker. Scruffwings." Symon is teasing.

"Heh."

"My nerd side says Shadowfax, or Snowmane." Then on second thought. "Not that last one. It's bad luck, probably. Snowmane was Theodan's bane, and crushed his rider."

Footsteps... Nadeen is not loud but to symon's ears?

"Sleipnir had eight limbs, and could run through the heavens."

And he turns, giving Nadeen a wary nod.

And sliding over, making room at the edge of the paddock fence, he is at the closest spot he can find without going inside.

Nadeen is carrying the camera that takes chimerical pictures and she stops ,then nods to the Sluagh before turning to Dagmar "Got the camera. Do you want to take the first picture of him?"

"This guy is two legs short still, though."

"Shadowfax might be cool, though..."

"I think I'll try for all three of them. Thanks, Nadeen..." She trots over to get the camera.

"The Lord of All Horses. You'd need to let a wizard ride 'em. "

And the camera is handed over, then says "Oh don't say that. Zane will insist on trying."

"Zane has his own damn hooves and is cocky enough without thinking he's Wayburton the White."

Connor has fallen asleep, meanwhile, curled up near Clem's cot.

And Nadeen actually almost chuckles at that.

Dagmar coaxes Stormwake over by dam and foal.

Stormwake trots over

And Symon is already making some notes on his phone. "You're gonna need a custom saddle even if those wings don't work. Maybe if they fold like a Gryphons rather than drag, you could have cut outs... extra loops for safety - you don't want to be attached on a normal horse because if they buck you'd be knocked to pieces, but in the air, better rattled then pancake." He mutters to himself.
