"Yeah sure.. though I THINK I got an idea , specifically how to do something for Adam?" She says

"Is it cheating if you give me an idea?"

"I want to make it right and do it right."

"Not in this case. Big sister advice... it SHOULD be sought " She gets some note pads "Now, you get a chimerical magic marker.. and write on these..and post them in places like the apartment and

"Not like when playing checkers and Torin pretends he didn't see my extra kings."

"Oh yes.. we advertise for Knight's Heart Rides"

"He will drive for 8 hours straight and not ask questions..." Then he frowns. "If I can trick him, someone else could too."

"Oh, point. We'll, we'll work on it. Did you want to go for a walk then? Two legs or four? We can go places o thers don't often go if you want to stretch just two"

"I knew I couldn't fool Dagmar, or Dirk. They know Symon too much. And Sylvi and Miss Kerri, they have a way of noticing things that nobody get's nothing past. But Adam can't see so well. Someone could take 'vantage of him. And I did."

"We could go see the horses? If I start chores now, I can show Dagmar I can do a good job.."

"And not steal all the apples and eat them in a tree."

"I think you're right, let's go see the horses" A nod "And... yes, but Adam is proud.. not AILIL proud... but if you treat him like he's a damsel he'll get miffed"

"But maybe there is a way to help him see better? Like... glasses help people see when they have bad eyes. Could we put something on his mirrors in his car and he can tell who is in the back seat like I can tell the difference between Browndog and Oak? And not just chocolate vs. vanilla, my eyes see that fine."

"Well, he can already see kithain hun. You can't make someone IMMUNE to Fuddle or other spells" A pause "Not sure we want it too easily resisted"

"No... but maybe if a mirror could see if there was a spell going. Like when I can't see a cake but I can smell it." He ponders this. "But I don't know how to make things work magic."

"We can talk to Betrand? I'm learning to appreciate nockers" Thoughtful

"Do I know Bertrand?" Trying to remember, and then a little glance over at Gerd, thoughtfully. "That was a really pretty box."

"GLass blowing nocker.. a friend to Sylvi.. Oh.." She looks at the box "Yes. uhm.. "Light blush "Wudlig gave it to me"

"Can I see?"

"Sure" She says

He picks it up carefully, admiring and tries a drawer, then his brows rise. He tugs lightly at the lid, and looks about to give it a shake, but instead sets it down carefully. "Hmmph. He gave you a broken box!"

"I could get a hammer to pry the top open..."

Trying to hide a smile as he watches her reaction.

"NO!" Alarmed

His hands behind his back, and smile peeking out.

"See, it's a jewelry box, but you can switch it around" She explains and then.. "Oh you scamp"

"You should give him a box back. I bet Tove could help you.... one he could put tools in. With something pretty drawn on the sides, but bigger so a hammer could fit."

"And Tove is smart so she'd make sure that the drawers WORK."

"Chief also does carving... but she's busy..." He looks crestfallen for a moment, but shakes it away.

"Oh now.. you feel bad about snapping at the chief don't you?"

He looks aghast. "Did she tell you what I said?" Tail tucked.

"No details" She says noting the body language "But it was harsh huh?"

He dares a nod.

"I think the Chief will be ... well, you need to apologize yes, and she will likely make you feel miserable while you give it, not because shew ants to , but because it will be lecture part two"

"And I deserve it." A sigh.

"Is it bad of me... if I'm still glad I went? I mean, I shouldna done things Like I did... but I'm glad I got to see it..."

"You do deserve more lecturing yes" firm brow, then a sigh "Are you bad if you are still glad you went? Well, that depends. I fyou would still do it again i'd say it doesn't reflect well on your ability to learn from mistakes. If you're saying there were some good things out of going .. well, if there were there were"

A violent shake, and then nod, and then shake of his head. "I'd WANT to get everyone mad again!"

She gives him a hug gentle "It will be okay"

"Okay." He doesn't sound certain, but he does trust Gerd.

"I liked Marigold. She was nice, like Anne-Marie, or Myrtle-Anne. Is a Myrtle a flower too? It sounds like a Turtle, but I didn't say that because it could be mean. I bet Jack would know."

"Jack might. he's getting quite the green thumb" she says "i'm glad some were kind to you, but in my expereince, Sidhe Courts are dangerous places to make friendships. One of my friends is a Countess of House Eiluned ... and I STILL have to be careful what i say or do around her"

"A COUNTESS? Who's that? Is she pretty?"

"I only met one sidhe there. And she was... was... Very pretty." He says, in the manner of one who can think of nothing else polite to say. "She was nice to Dagmar? Ish?"
