"Hey, maybe you could work out a deal to travel? Like... a chaperone?"

"I mean, it sucks..."

"But, like - Jude, yeah? So maybe one of us trolls..." A snort. "It's kind of bullshit, anyways. You served your time and you've been GREAT here."

She frowns a bit. "I'll... maybe the Chief can talk to him. If it's a specific place, for a quest... but I'm not sure I'm the best one to try to teach Adam musing."

"Mmm..."

"I did try, a little, but... how do you teach what you just know?"

"Maybe Tove?"

"She's helped me."

"That's like, if you were to teach me how to be tall." She nods a bit, "Tove IS brilliant. But she has a baby."

"Kerri, too."

Gerd ponders.

"Like, a FRESH one. Not that it's all she can do now, but... CJ needs her a lot I'm sure. And you should get next call after him, maybe fighting with your dad."

"Kind of keeping May from getting too... um.. unruly, sometimes. She spawns chimera."

"That's new! You should keep an eye on her, too. I bet some courts would be eager for such a strong dreamer, or conversational piece."

A frown.

"Yeah... I gotta protect her."

"Maybe... maybe Adam should try to muse May?"

"Hmm." A look to Dagmar. "She's your dreamer - and your friend. What do you think?"

Brow-furrow. She's thinking.

"May... doesn't much like Adam."

"Oh"

"Like, she and Lupe do the best friend thing?"

She chews on a hangnail.

"You have good friends" Gerd bumps Dagmar lightly "Also, Lupe maybe small, but she's boss"

A glance over at Piper "not that you short folks can't be boss normally"

"Oh yeah. Lupe's a force."

A small grin back. "Tiny but fierce?"

"Isn't she dating DIRK?"

"Yeah" A nod

"Yeah, I don't get it either."

"I... try NOT to think about it?" Gerd says

"Then again, I'm dating Adam... maybe the heart doesn't always listen to the head."

"TRUTH."

"So... are you and Nadeen an official couple? I didn't want to pry, but you look good together."

"Not just looks." She appends. "You look right, somehow. Like you fit."

"Um. I.. maybe?" She's purple, but her eyes also light up.

"Yeah, Nadeen's.. NICER when she's with you" A nod

Nail-chew and a nod.

"She looks at you like she would give you the world... and you look at her like she IS your world." A smile.

"No pressure... if slow and relaxed is your niche it's good" A nod
