She shakes her head.

Gerd says "I. don't know if that's... I mean... that's a lot to..."

"Maybe you... hey!" She spins to look at Dagmar, and grins.

"ASk it to explain the limits and any tricks... and Dagmar will know if it lies..."

Gerd blinks "That's..clever"

"Ok, so... you guys take this and ....call me. Or something." He starts to put the lamp down.

"Adam, wait. Why are you.... " She looks confused. "It's your prize..."

"Well... yeah?"

Gerd blinks "Adam, I'm not sure why you're upset at us if you are upset. We can't make the Chief or Mountain appear. I sent out texts. I've done all I can to get them."

"I can play lie detector. Seems smart to see what this thing can do..."

"Ok, yeah...."

"Hey Dag." He offers a smile.

Gerd half closes her eyes and breathes in a more controlled fashion.

"I mean - I get it, waiting to see if this could be good for the Lodge. So, why not see what we're dealing with?"

"Cool. I got two wishes chillin' on ice. Just lookin' to see what the Chief wants."

"But... what do YOU want to wish for? I mean, altruism is great, but it was your prize, and... you CAN'T tell me you don't want..." She trails off...

Adam looks away.

"I do."

"Mor'in anything but......"

"Then.. why don't you... I mean, two wishes. Even if you give one away, don't you deserve..."

She looks puzzled, and reaches out to rest a hand on him.

Gerd says "Piper... I think he's showing a lot of sense. Wishes can be dangerous. Even with a Gwydion boon to back up."

"Yeah, so why not talk to the genie?"

The front door swings open suddenly and the Chief strides in, axe in hand.

"But he could be FAE. And we could ask... find out, check to be sure... " She exhales. "It could be dangerous, but ANY wish could be. And the last wish that this thing went overboard on, it was to Nab's BENEFIT..."

"Chief!"

She looks around the group...

(and spots the genie?)

"Gerd, you told me to come immediately. What is the problem?"

She looks ready to fight something.

"CHIEF!"

The kinain blurts.

She looks from one to the other, expecting an explanation.

He waves a lamp.

"My apologies, Chieftain. I didn't mean... well, let's just say it's complicated.. but to recap- "We got a Solimioid.. err fire guy like Klump is a stone guy... fighting a satyress somewhere out there... neither very nice. Adam took a lamp they were fighting over, Nab and he got injured.... and it had a genie."'

Nabuni flies into the air "Only now I can grow... " and she ends up full sized

"A genie?"

"Like, Aladdin, three wishes..."

Gerd just gets the Chief some coffee as everyone talks

She frowns and returns Speaker to her belt. "Whose wishes?"

A nod of thanks to Gerd as coffee is provided.

"Mine."

Nabuni says "Yes. Powerful Chimera Djinn"

As she drinks, she looks automatically to the balefire, checking that it is secure.

"Unless he doesn't wish for two days or someone kills him" Gerd adds

A brow at Adam. "Yours."

"Yes, Chief. I thought.. with everything.... you could use wishes?"

Nabuni says "It was my fault... I was the one who told him to grab the lamp. Neither of those two had nice fantasies.. and I try not to judge but I got a feel it would be bad...."
