"I can keep the lamp for now, right?"

"Ooohhhh..." He clues in.

"I guess." She's texting "But be careful. We don't want anyone hunting you"

She looks over at the thing.... then grins as Adam catches on. "Right. Now... maybe you should find a safe place to put that. What if it's like that... you know that Twilight Zone about the monkey's paw? What if you're holding it and thinking, like "Someone should make me a sandwich, and BOOM, you're an avocado and swiss on rye?"

"Or if one of the kids picks it up and suddenly it's raining chocolate syrup? Fun for a few hours, but heck on the ecosystem, I bet the chief would have KITTENS."

Dagmar enters, Flyswatter in hand. "What's going on? I hurried."

"Did you see anyone weird on the way over?" Twining her fingers with one of Adam's hands.

"Thanks" Gerd says to Dagmar "We got a Solimoid.. err fire guy like Klump is a stone guy... fighting a satyress somewhere out htere... neither very nice. Adam took a lamp they were fighting over, it had a genie. He's made a wish ..and got two more'

"Dude, Piper, hair..."

"...Seriously?"

She looks at Gerd, then Adam, then snorts.

"What?"

"Seriously... don't knwo how much trouble they are but apparently they did hurt Nab and Adam... but then he wished for healing and... Not only are they healed, Nab can grow?" Gerd says

Blink.

"Hunh."

"So, we expecting the two strangers to come here?"

"Or are we expecting the genie to do some kind of 'be careful what you wish for' thing?"

"Dag. Yeah. All that. So where's the Chief?"

"Or anyone?"

"The Mountain or Hearth or anyone?"

She blinks at Dagmar, and is rubbing the shaved undercut a little self consciously. "What?"

Gerd gives Adam a look "Adam. Dagmar is a KNIGHT, I am no slouch at Wayfare. If what you mean is you want someone with HIGH AUthority that's fine, but are both someones"

"It's good! New!"

She laughs! "Oh! Thanks. Sylvi gave me a chop. I like it! Kinda reminds me of Siv... but oh, yeah, there's maybe some crazy Fire-dude and Amazon-Satyress running wild looking for Al-Adam and his Magical Lamp."

"Damn. Sylvi is so gonna be a fuckin' pro..."

"Okay. So, we have a lamp and maybe some folks that want it... we know where Jack and Connor are?"

"Mm kind of like Siv, but different enough to be it's own thing..." Gerd agrees

"Are they over at the Farm today?" She asks hopefully.

"They might be. Better to have the kiddos safe... wait, wasn't there some memorial weekend thing for the childlings?"

Adam subsides.

"They're gonna come home full of sugar and hot dogs."

"Great... Connor is going to bounce off the walls" Gerd says

"Snouts and entrails..." She wrinkles up her nose.

"Yeah, well, and safe."

She nods at that! "From what Adam said, it sounds like a Solimond. Like your rock friend, but for fire?" Vaguely remembering a mention of Klump, perhaps.

"Oh yeah. I don't think... don't think fire and rock get along?"

Nabuni still shrunk says "I think the lamp is bonded to Adam until two more days ... or three wishes which ever comes first"

"What happens if he doesn't make more wishes?"

"In some story I read... I think he gets in trouble. But I'm not sure here. Maybe it just vanishes back to the Cave of Wonders or wherever it's from?"

"Then I lose them. So.... I want to know what the Chief wants."

Eyebrow.

Adam looks away.

"Well that's not the worst thing. I was worried this was like.. Sheherezad, and I swear there was some genie who when he came out, would only let you 'wish' to decide how it would kill you. But I can't remember now, all I can think of is blue Will Smith..." A shake of her head.

Adam grins. "I'm Prince Ali?"

"Oh, yeah. Of course you'd wish to be a prince. Surprised you didn't wish yourself kithain already..."

Her eyes WIDEN.

"Do you think it has that power?"

Adam looks away.

"You could wish to be Fae... or even a Fae PRINCE,,,, god, that would throw King David's court for a LOOP... or even to find Arcadia..." Her eyes are huge.

"So where's the Chief?"
