"I don't skip his class, I skipped -out- of his class and took Spanish." Primly.

"Right, like I said, seems like you don't like him either"

"I.... he might be growing on me. A little."

"Well, then definitely ask him, and see what he says?"

"If you're -sure- you don't want to?" Charmingly, inviting....

Unimpressed, growing bored, "Quite sure that I am not the one for you."

"Yeah." bummed "Ok. Thanks for talking with me."

"You're welcome. If Sir Vali declines, let me know and I'll see if I can find a tutor for you in people skills elsewhere."

"Thank you." He starts away, stops and looks back. "You know, you were the first Sidhe I ever saw."

"Glad I made an impression," Nadeen says, "But in truth, while it may not show, I am probably nicer now than I was then."

"You made an impression." He confirms. "You still kind of stop my heart. And yeah. You're nicer now. I'm happy for you, on that. Thanks again." He smiles, and it's not a bad look on him; he'll go inside, unless she stops him?

She doesn't, but she does pull out phone and text ..sommeone.

And Adam is inside, ready for whenever Kyle is done talking.

Dagmar is sacked out on the couch, sleeping.

SOMEBODY escaped the baby

"Sorry, son. I got caught up in a chat," He apologizes

"You wanting to go home?"

Adam pauses at the sight, and smiles.

"Huh? Oh, uh.... no. I mean, up to you."

"Well, I'm heading home and you're welcome to join me. If you want to hang around here or visit folks that's fine but don't miss dinner this evening. I think your mom is making home made pizzas with the toppings we request IF she has it."

"Yeah, I'll head home with you." And he makes his manners to the others present before following his father out to the car.

They wish him well...

and Kyle drives them home "Nice move with the spear trip son. I don't know fighting well enough to say with authority but I think you should keep that one in your strategy guide"

"Thanks. I've been working with pole arms and staffs in training. Only worked with swords a couple times, but I got to take a practice one home with me." And true, while Kyle's seen Adam practicing in the backyard, it is only ever with a sword blank. He carries a mace and staff on patrols, though.

"Well, the training shows" He says as they pull up.

"Thanks again. You do pretty good yourself."

"Olgar says I'm too cautious...working on that but mmm"

Two figures are coming out of the house as they park

Adam glances over.

Leya and Lola? Yep. It's them.

Adam sighs.

"mm want me to back up and act like we forgot to pick up grocieres or something?" his father offers

"No. Might as well do this." Adam climbs out.

"I'll wait in the car and leave it to you then" He says

"Go inside if you want. It's really not a big deal." And backpack in hand he heads up the walk. "Hey, Ladies."

The women look a bit guarded, Leya pushes her glasses to her nose, "Hi." /Lola puts a hand on her hip and is cautious "Hola"

" 'Sup?"

"I mean, uh, what brings you here? Anything I can do for you?"

"Well, actually, we dropped by to talk to your mom, " Leya says "But.. she says you might want to talk to us, or you might not." /"She was kind of vague" Lola says cautiously

"Oh." Adam kicks at the walkway once. "Look, they said that you need to repay a debt. I don't see a debt between us. It was an even trade. But...... what do you see?"

"We got this hanging over our heads and it sucks" LOla says , ever the more outspoken one "Look, I get it, we fucked you.. or. rather didn't fuck you.. but we got you knocked out and dizzy and took your wallet so... we get why you wouldn't want to talk to us... but we were hoping you would at least take the money back so we could TRY to get things right. Our names are mud right now in the community"

Leya says "nevermind we're feeling shitty about it"

A shrug. "Yeah. Well, if that's what it takes to make it right for you, then sure."

"Thanks, we really appreciate it," Leya says "Weird as that sounds. " She bites a lip "You ARE going to cash this, right?"

As she breaks out a check book. who uses those?

"If I can figure out how." he agrees.

They laugh "Well, just mail it to your bank or your parents bank..." "Or ask Sally Mae"
