By now, Kerri probably knows Dagmar's "new food face" - a perfect picture of skeptical.

"Yes, because there's so much competition there." A wink.

"Also, the hound really did help. By the way, Coradel loves berries on her ice cream... I think she could live off those" an unspoken and keep her figure

She does catch Dagmar's look. "I won't force these on anybody who doesn't want them. More for those who do. Sauteed morels are lovely for those who already like mushrooms."

"Apparently Morels are supposed to be like the rare pokemon of mushrooms, Dagmar. They won't be cultivated or domesticated"

"Well, I like regular mushrooms..."

"Why they gotta look so weird?"

"Then you get to try some if you like. And they'll look weirder once you finish chewing them," she adds with a nudge of her elbow.

"Heh." A smile.

"Some mushrooms look tasty but have..shall we say ramifications," Siv says "I got offered one that they call the 'chimera inducer'. Pretty sure it was illegal by mortal standards"

"Oh, yeah. Shrooms can mess you up."

Kerri pauses a moment before responding. "I'm sure you'll be cautious about that, Dagmar."

"Oh Dagmar's got more sense than I do," Siv says "if I passed, I'm sure she would"

Kerri gives Siv a glance. "I wasn't going to ask what you decided."

"I haven't had those, personally. But yeah."

"Ouch" Siv says but smiles airly

"Ice cream is better than most things." She opines.

"Well....Fiona," Kerri says apologetically by way of explanation. "Not quite sure what you'll get up to, Siv."

Then a laugh at Dagmar. "I agree."

"Oh, you'd be surprised," Siv smiles "Most of it fun"

And Siv sighs "my ice cream is melty. Mother tried to warn me my talking too much might cause me to miss out.. oh why didn't I listen" Sigh poke poke

"It's still good as soup."

Suddenly, with great concern and urgency. "Hey..."

"....is cereal a soup?"

"I.. have no earthly idea" Siv says looking at Kerri

Dagmar looks at Kerri, Knower Of All Things.

"Oh...Dame Dagmar." Kerri looks very serious all of a sudden. "You have done it."

"Did what?"

A sigh. "You have asked The Question."

Blink.

"What do you mean?"

"The Question?" Curious

The Hearth intones ominously, "The Question. Mere amateurs wrangle over whether or not tomatoes count as vegetables...but to question about the soup-itude of cereal is to venture upon Deep Philosophy." Her eyes are large.

Siv has a look of doubt, but... quite quickly, her certainty they're being played dissolves. Wait, IS she serious?

And she starts to think yes, yes she might be

A moment more, then Kerri winks. "...so go ask the Mountain."

Blink.. blink.. then, she laughs!

A grin as Dagmar laughs.

"ooo what a cheat" Siv says but does laugh

Kerri puts her hands up in innocence. "What can I say, some questions are not part of my purview." And this way he can't send them back to me to answer.

"Uh-huh."

"So are blasted Peep funeral mounds a success?" Kerri nods towards their bowls.

"They'd be better with, like, graham crackers. They're kind of smore-ish."

"Next time."

"I think I prefer chocolate syrup and sprinkles, but the company couldn't be beat"

"Indeed. Well, your appetites are spoiled for a while. My work here is done," she says with some wry resignation, and she goes to put the dishtowels in the wash.

"Oh. Right. I best help you" Siv says "I'm staying until morning at a request"

"Request? Not that I'm not glad you're here, but whose request?"
