Bix studies with Frank, the DeBuke focuses his glamour and...places it on the token. Trying to learn how to enchant more effectively "I thought you just put glamour on something any old thing... but if you can teach me to do it with a minimum amount..."

Frank nods, waiting to speak until Bix is finished.

It's an actual game token, from an Arcade that closed but had it's glory days

and the glamour settles. "I think I got it"

Frank nods again. "The easiest, strongest dross is made from something that already holds meaning. To someone, somewhere, somewhen."

"And those lend themselves to enchantment easier..even if I don't personally have the connection. Huh. I suppose that teaches me to appreciate things"

"Mmm...." Frank waggles his hand. " 'Things'..... yes, because a tangible object is needed to pass the Glamour to, to give it a home. But it's the connection between the -person-... the -emotion- of the person -regarding- the object..... and the object..... that resonates to and with the Glamour, and with the Dreaming."

"mmm even after they might be dead?"

Intrigued

Frank nods. "In some cases."

"huh, would explain a lot about some of the dross you can find on the farm" He says

The sound of the lodge door opening..someone coming in.

"Some of the dross you can find. Anywhere." Frank says. "Bix, you might think in terms of a walkabout. Rumspringa."

"That's a term come up a lot lately" he says

"Has it?" Frank sips his cider.

"Chief and elders have been talking in private, naturally that means every wilder's hoping to hear about it. There's ..well, Sis got a trip to Fenix... and others are learning about other locations."

"Hm. Come to think of it, I might have heard something about that."

"Yeah, sounds like you might be more in the loop ..at least officially, than we are" he says , and brows

Frank shakes his shaggy head. "Not really."

"Oh you're not going to try to brow my da into telling you things might have been told him in confidence anyway" Siv says "Are ye, Bix?"

It would appear she was the one who came in and then quietly watched until now

"I.. oh, hello, Siv" he says

"I don't think it sounds like any secrets, Siv." Dag chimes in.

"Well, where's the fun o that then?" Siv says "Hi, Bix. Dad pressing your nose to the grindstone?"

Bix smiles at that, "your father is actually very patient."

Then he adds "And hello, Dagmar"

"Siv?" Frank stands and approaches. "Hello Dagmar. Siv, welcome. What brings you? Is everything ok?"

"Hey Mountain."

"Everything's fine, father. Just dropping by with a bit o free time'

"It's good to see you." Frank offers a hug.

Bix smiles "I think we were about to close up on my lesson times today anyway, Mountain. I should tend to some chores on the farm"

Siv hugs her father, then looks embarrassed, "Sorry, Bix. Didn't mean to distract. Well, I did, but not at anyone's expense"

Siv then looks at Dagmar "Dagmar was showing me this horsey magazine and things"

"I'm sending in pictures of Stormwake and Star!"

"Well. Good." Frank encourages.

"You saw the camera, right?"

Bix gathers his things ,and the token "Same time next week, Mountain?"

"I will see you then." The grump nods gravely.

And Bix slips out

well, he waves to all and goes

Siv reluctantly ends her hug with her da and then smiles to Dagmar "You showed me a picture or two, not the camera. Da, have you seen this camera? "

"Bertrand made it!" She sets her backpack on the table, and roots it out.

"I have heard of it."

"Hey, could you take one of da and I together?"

"Sure! Oh, maybe I could get one of my family, later..."

"Okay, so stand next to each other and look like you love each other."

She laughs at that

Frank seems uncertain about this, but shuffles into place.

a full throaty sound, "hear that dad? We have to LOOK Like we love each other...shall I sigh while you shake your head that I'm being stubborn? More realistic wway to show it" but she instead steps to her father's side and throws an arm up and over his shoulder and leans her head with a smile

Frank puts an arm around her waist.
